My hp smart tank was not printing blue, and this kit helped me get it working again! The instructions were clear, but I watched a YouTube video too. There’s plenty of cleaning solution for multiple uses. Great product!

Kit did exactly what it was supposed to and worked better than i hoped. The bit for flushing the smaller print heads was difficult to keep on and i had a lot of liquid to clean it, but it still worked. I gave my printer about 48 hours to dry.

Our printer just wouldn't print red, even after doing several head cleanings. I guess I should have paid attention when the printer warned me to check ink levels - the tanks looked at least half full from the outside viewing window. My bad.Anyhoo, after a Google search on "ET-4760 won't print red", I stumbled across a You Tube video which led me to this wonderful product. At 67 years young, I am just tech-savvy enough to try to fix minor tech problems on my own, and the video made it look so easy. It was (almost) that easy. I struggled a bit removing the tanks, not knowing how firmly I should pull the transparent lockdown tabs, but the tanks removed easily. The nozzle was easy to attach to the ink port, although I was a little messier than the guy in the video, but I think that's to be expected for my first attempt. Lava bar soap removed ink on my fingers removed almost instantaneously. I did the super clean once, and when I tried to do a super clean a second time, I got a message on the printer telling me to do something with the maintenance box. I'll tackle that in the future, with the help of You Tube. Prints all colors like an absolute dream! We are back in business, people!!Don't hesitate to try this on your own. It's a great product that works EXACTLY as advertised! Will buy in the future if I need more.

This is exactly what I needed to get my Canon Pixma printer working again when the black stopped working and none of the printer maintenance options worked. My only gripe is the instructions aren’t very good, but at least there’s YouTube.

We had two printers that needed to be cleaned. One printer was the Brother MFC-J835DW and an Epson XP-446. After watching the video on how to clean the printers, both printers printing issue did not resolve. For the Brother, the black ink still would not print. After examining the line, we noticed the black ink was not flowing at all, as if there was no seal allowing the ink to flow through the line. The colored ink flowed freely and printed with no issue. For the Epson, we got it to print but the print head was causing it to smear the colored ink then all of a sudden the printer shut down and would not turn back on. Both printers we have to recycle now.The solution does work, but beware it may not resolve the issue at all. The only way you can fully clean the print head is to remove the print head and flush the fluid through it, if possible. I think the print head was damaged after cleaning it on the Epson printer due to it rubbing against the paper towel, hence the smeared ink when printing. The cost for the actual product is too high. You get everything you need, but the bottle of solution is enough to clean just one printer one time. I would not attempt to clean the printer, but just buy a new one.

Great product for cleaning an inkjet printhead. Be aware it is messy.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Because of what was included in the kit and the fact that it addresses a little-known maintenance need for the EcoTank printers. Ease of use:I’m technical but I still found the online video instructions helpful (search that “tube” video site for The Printer Guy or @BestPrinters)Cleaning ability:My printer went from zero black ink making it to a page to absolutely sharp, clear printing of all colors again. I even tested photo printing (which I had never done before on this printer) and it was gorgeous! You cannot go wrong with this product. Just follow the instructions and wait 24 hours for it all to dry properly before printing after cleaning. For my Epson EcoTank, replacing the part called the Maintenance Box was an important second part of this journey.

Whew! Saved me a lot of time and quite a bit of money. My HP Officejet Pro 8620 -- I love that thing. Does everything I need and my scanning interfaces to it work. When it gave a printhead problem error and starting leaking yellow ink, I knew I might need a new printer. Well, two problems: one feature --- the large flatbed glass for scanning --- is no longer available on any model of HP Inkjet; I even called them and a very helpful lady tried to find a printer for me. Second problem is the amount of time it would take me to get all of my scanning software to work with a new printer. So I looked at solutions and found their video on YouTube. Thought I might as well try it. Messy, but it worked! Getting a second set because I think our other printer will need it soon.
