Most awesome 110V plug cover ever made!
This plug cover is nothing short of awesome! Not only does it keep bugs, muck, and road salt off of the plug end of my Jeep's block heater, but it has a handy retaining strap that keeps it snug against the grille when not in use. The enormous sense of security this gives me both on-road and off- cannot be overstated, and has helped enormously with anxiety-related sleep issues I had been experiencing when the cord simply dangled freely from the bumper.Made in Canada by Temro, its engineering is clearly representative of Canada's expertise in dealing with harsh Winter climates. I don't know if I own any other Canadian-made products, but after purchasing this plug cover I'm tempted to see if I can obtain some in order to evaluate their worthiness. Hopefully our warmer South-of-the-border Summers won't prove tricky for the plug cover, but I have confidence in its abilities to survive.Highly-recommended, and suitable as a gift for graduations, early prison releases, and baby showers.

Fits a 2002 Jeep grand Cherokee just fine
I don't know what all the negative reviews are about, I bought this for the block heater plug in my 2002 Jeep grand Cherokee and it fit just fine. it is tight enough to keep the snow and water out. I did have to zip tie it to the cord but that is no big deal.

Wothless junk, does not fit
Bought this as it shows up as recommended to purchase with the Kat's (#28216) block heater cord as a the cap to it. It's an obvious need to someone who is buying the cord, and should actually come with the cord, but the cord is cheap and so is this, so no biggie buying them both. However, the cap Does not even remotely fit the end of the block heater cord. Plug end would have to be about a 1/4" to 3/8" smaller in diameter before it even came close to fitting inside of this cap. Not worth the time or trouble to ship it back, but I hope no one else wastes their money until they do something about this. Actually seems pretty ridiculous that these items sold together clearly aren't remotely close to working with each other, seems like something that should be pretty easy to get right considering the cord and this cap are made by the same company.

Not A Very Tight Fit
More plastic than rubber. Not a great fit. Falls off easily.

Adequate if not stellar cover
I've been looking for a cap for the engine heater plug on my car, but couldn't find one locally. This isn't as good as it could be, but it's adequate. It's not completely waterproof, but it keeps the dirt off the prongs. With only a little practice, it is easy enough to slip over the plug, and it holds tightly. I attached it to the cord with a tie wrap, which was easy and neat to accomplish. If I were to design a cover, though, it would be more like the female end of an extension cord, gripping the prongs of the male plug. But for the price, and the lack of any comparable covers at any hardware store that I've checked, it's just fine.

Kat's 120V cord cover end
Made from soft material, easy to put on, and easy to remove. What's not to love. I do hope it last for years to come.
