Book of Eli Movie Anodized Black Machete

Blade is shorter than as shown in the movie, but I did not buy this as a fan. I bought it to do damage to encroaching tree limbs and to clear paths. It comes sharp but needs a little more sharpening if you desire, but out of the box, it did not have a problem cutting through 1/2 inch thick branches. The blade feels too light but personally, I 'd rather use a heavy blade for heavy work.For the price, you get what you pay for in this machete. It's light weight is advantageous if your backpacking lots of weight. It's a choice of function and purpose. For backyard use, this blade will do just fine. For outdoor survival, it'll do as a back-up.

Good to hang on a wall. It was a lot smaller then I thought but still a cool conversational piece. Handle is plastic and cheap but can be redone. Overall pretty cool not recommended for real machete uses although it holds a blade quite well. Overall 3 and 3/4 stars.

It is just like the one from the movie I got it for my bug-out bag and it fits just like I hoped it would. The handle is a little slick but with the 550 cord wrap I put on it I love it. I put it to the stone to get just a bit better edge on it but was sharp when I got it. overall good machete.

This machette is really nice. I do a lot of brush clearing for my job, and this thing did the job better than I expected. I would highly recomend this for anyone looking for a machette.

Its ok... it's made sturdy but it's really small I thought it was the same size as the one denzel had but it was a major u[set when I got it.

it is way too small for a movie prop but it is a cool looking large knife. it is very sharp and its has a very durable sheath

The size is excellent and is wonderful for kali practice and escrima katas. The sheath has a zipper on the top that makes removing and sheathing easy without worrying about the machete cutting the sheath. The rubber handle is a great grip.
