Not user-friendly and very difficult to play.I guess I am too hard on the program. Finally got it to work and it takes lots of timeto experiment, so if you are smarter than me try it.

This software needs a complete rewrite. The video is jerky at any resolution. I understand from reports of others that this is because this product is being released without the support / authorization to update the core software. This product is a waste of money.I would stick to an old version of Microsoft Train Simulator. At least it runs well.

If you think you are paying this high price to play the game..think again. A steam account is required to play so that this company collects all of your personal information. The company then requires sign in; and the company is tracking your usage/selling your information and you are constantly bombarded to spend more, more, more. That is an all out PROFIT PROFIT PROFIT. And all my minor grandson wants to do is to play a railroad game that grandma paid alot of money for.

I've had Rail Simulator for years now back in 2007 and thought it was time for an upgrade and rather than going for TS2020 I went for TS2019, What a massive difference, The improvements as they have been gathered by rail enthusiasts and developers over the years really stands out enormously. The graphics and sound effects are simply out of this world and meet all expectations of reality.The route building is the same as Rail Simulator with a few extra modifications to fix earlier bugs and to just generally make things easier. The online store is built into the game so you can order and play the purchased routes and locos etc.. in minutes. You also have a store for all that is really cheap and there are plenty daily offers. Nothing is expensive either. I have purchased quite a few things since installing the simulator and look forward to seeing more cool locos and routes. I give it 10/10

Not what I expected I would have liked to be able to build a layout of my own, but it is so difficult to Edit routs.

Ideal if you don't have space to build a model railway in the real world.First game I played, from Paddington, and the train kept braking for no reason. The DSD alarm sounded but Q didn't switch it off. So, after trial and error, it is done through the mouse on screen to a blank AWS Reset pad - lazy developer. Not a great start and left me wondering if I should request a refund.However, if you got great graphics then this is sure to please.It had to download updates.Best to buy these games a year after launch, as bugs are fixed by then and smoother running is realised for pleasing gaming.Time can really fly when playing this game, but you can start where you left off or return after you derailed it.

This is awful. Like going back to the 1980’s. Takes an age to load (on an i5 4-core processor running 64-bit Win10) and although claiming to be 32 and 64-bit versions on the DVD gives no option to install the 64-bit version so I get the 32-bit version. Trade Description Act??? Graphics are poor quality to say the least and a far cry from what we have become used to in the 21st century - hence the ‘back to the 80s’ comment. On the positive side, I have been able to experiment with driving a steam train.
