Cute, but thats about it.
These are very cute on, but not for long walks across campus or on anything other than pavement. Even thought the bottoms are textured, they are still very slick, so watch your step. The shaft of the boot is quite narrow, I almost thought the boot was a size too small, but once I got my foot into the actual shoe part (sorry, don't know technical name) it fit perfect. Lots of room, but not a great deal of arch support. If you walk on cobblestone, you can feel the stones through the sole of the boot. Also, its not great to wear with any pants other than leggings, or skinny jeans. my normal boot cut jeans bunch up and even when expertly folded, rolled, and stuffed into a sock, they look a little strange tucked into this boot. Also, it's not as tall as it looks. It comes up to mid calf on me. Not great in the rain either. But cute, and good for when you just have to run errands, or go to class. Honestly, I would have found a better, more solid/warm/waterproof winter boot.

Nice Boot.
First let me say I live in northern MN, where winter is harsh. The first thing I did was spray them with a water proofer. I would never wear these boots to take the kids sledding, or for being outside in the snow all day. I bought them to wear running errands, when I'm going from the house, to the car, to the store etc.... I bought a half size up and wear a pair of thick socks with them. They are comfortable to drive in as well as walk in. They do lack support, but not so much that they're uncomfortable. These are perfect if you don't want to wear big heavy snow boots while shopping, or driving. My only complaint is that they do slouch on my leg more than I expected. I wish they stood up like in the picture. All and all I'm pleased with this purchase.

Good price for cute boots.
I really like these boots and read lots of reviews before ordering. They do run larger than other Sorel boots, I have 4 pair total. I'd say 1/2-1 whole size larger. These are not very structured and kind of slouch which is fine but I didn't quite expect that. Also, I needed to add an insole as the heel cup is very shallow and I felt a little too much movement, which I don't care for. I've worn them all day twice this past week and get compliments, plus I have bad feet and they were comfortable enough for all day. They are not water or snow proof but did keep my feet and legs warm during Dallas Tx's recent 40 degree cold snap. For the price, I'd get another pair if I liked the colors.

Comfortable and stylish!
Buying shoes online is always tricky for me. Typically, I wear a size 9(M)width if the shoe is made of soft material or leather. Some brands I have to go 9(W) as 9(M) is too narrow on my almost wide feet. I ordered a 9(M), and with a thinner sock these shoes are so amazingly comfortable! There's some heel sliding when walking, but with a thicker sock it should remedy this issue. These 'sweater boots' - as I've nicknamed them - are not made for trekking through slushy snow, but on cold, dry fall and winter days they are fashionable and practical as they are comfortable. As mentioned in other reviews, the boots do slouch a bit since they don't have a rigid support behind the fabric, but I wear them with skinny jeans or leggings and it looks great a bit slouchy - it doesn't just flop down to your ankles. I ordered 3 boots this winter to try out... These are keepers! I don't want to take them off - they are as comfortable as my favorite pair of slippers.

Slouchy, but Comfy
The heel and ankle are pretty roomy, but the toe box is a bit snug. It ends up being okay with tucking in your pants, wearing thick socks, etc. But you'll probably want to buy a size up. They are also more slouchy than I anticipated. They don't look slouchy in the picture, but in real life, they are. They are plenty wide enough around the calf for me. (I have average sized calves.) They are pretty grippy on the bottom, which I like. The fabric around the upper portion of the boot is felt. I'm not sure how that will hold up.

Cute and Comfortable
These boots weren't exactly as I expected, but I really like them, they have a unique look. They are extremely comfortable and I can definitely see myself being able to walk around all day in them, but I wouldn't suggest wearing them as a snow boot. They are lightweight and flexible, and although they fit a little large in the foot, I think if I ordered a size down they would be too small so I'm happy with the size so I can wear a thick sock. I have large calves and I can't pull them all the way up, but they look just as good kind of pushed down and slouchy.

They do fit more like a clog
I read previous reviews about ordering 2 sizes down. I am a 8.5, but sometimes wear 9. I ordered a size 8 and they were still slightly big. They do fit more like a clog, but I do find them comfortable. They are light weight and not overly warm, perfect for autumn or warmer winter days. I have received many compliments on them so far. I have skinny chicken legs so i have a hard time finding boots that look right. These look great with jeans because they have a slightly slouched look, but not too slouched. I would recommend to anyone looking for a casual unique boot.

LOVE them but they run a full size too big
I LOVE the style of these boots. I typically like my boots to fit snug but comfortable and these do just that. They are a more relaxed fit but that's exactly what I was looking for. They are a great boot to just slip on and run errands around town. I wouldn't recommend buying these if you are looking for a snow boot. I usually wear a size 8 or 8.5. I originally bought the size 8. It was too big so I returned it for a size 7.5. I would definitely order a half size to a full size smaller than you normally wear.
