Intel E97380-001 Cooling fan for Socket LGA 1366

It has been about a month and this thing is holding on and performing nicely. The only reason I had to replace the other one was the tabs that hold it to the motherboard were busted out or stripped by me. My original fan still works 3 plus years it just wouldn't stay in place so I ordered two new ones just because the price was so great. It was cheaper for me to order these two then one from competing tiger/egg sites. The supplier had them here in two days I will buy from them again.

Does what I needed it to do! My old cooler that came with my i7 920 was on its way out. Replaced with this guy and my CPU temps dropped 8° C. I didn't want an overgrown cooler (mainly because I'm too lazy to pull my motherboard for the backplate), so this worked perfect!These coolers are fine up to 3.5 GHz (I have a c0 stepping 920 so after 3.5 GHz it's unstable no matter what ... the d0 stepping cores were way better overclockers ... one of the disadvantages of jumping on new technology early on).

No nonsense fan that fits an LGA 1366 cpu socket. If you ever want to unscrew the fan after you've screwed it in, just twist each of the corner screws in the direction of the arrow. It will pop right off.

It is a nice design but too bad it doesn't fit my LGA1366 socket

Stock cooler. Tried and true when you need a simple solution. Clicks right into place and works well enough for the non overclocker
