Boker Plus 09BO100 Vox T-Hawk Axe is 13 3/4 in. Black Straight Edge, Blade

This is a pretty decent hawk for the price. A single piece of 1/4 inch thick, SK-5 high carbon steel which is a pretty good steel for this type of blade. The design it well made keeping in tradition with the Lagana shape. The G-10 scales are patterned good for a good grip (though they could have smoothed the edges for a better feel in the hand). I really like the sleek modern design of this hawk, it is well balanced and has some heft even for being a more compact hawk.Now for the bad.The sheath leaves a lot to be desired. It only has two vertical straps integrated into the back of the sheath that one could (conceivably) loop a belt through. The problem is they are spaced so far apart that you can only wear it on the back or front of your waist. You would not be able to wear it on your hip. This sheath could have been better if they had incorporated a swivel belt loop like many others. There are very little carry options with this sheath. However overall, it's still a decent hawk for the price.UPDATE: I bought a "Nupla 22213 Rawhide Blade Cover for Campers Utility Axe" here on Amazon for a mere $13. It fits this hawk perfectly. I will be replacing the crappy nylon sheathe that came with this hawk with this leather one (once I've dyed and waterproofed it).

I purchased this as a Christmas gift for my son who has had it on his wish list for a very long time. Since I know nothing about these kind of things, I can only go by what he has told me. He is extremely pleased with this axe. It did come with some nylon strings which I believe are for making the grip a little better but this is a guess. It did not come with any real directions but probably didn't need to. For those who use these axes, they already are very familiar with them.The cost was not too excessive and the axe is very heavy and solid.

I really like the t hawk. It has a nice balance and good craftsmanship.

Solid craftsmanship, quality metal and a sharp edge. What you see in the picture is what you get, though the good feel it provides must be felt to be understood.

Pretty awesome tactical tomahawk. Single piece of steel so very sturdy. Very very sharp. Very good size too, fits comfortably in the hand. Really like this one!

Solid piece of kit. Yes, the sheath could be better but it will work.

Exactly what I wanted - I have no complaints whatsoever. The size, grip and design are perfect! "Badass" is an understatement. ;D
