The Complete Crystal Handbook: Your Guide to More than 500 Crystals Paperback – September 7, 2010

A very knowledgeable book about Crystal Stones and minerals. When I need to buy a new crystal and I'm not sure what I need for whatever emotional, mental, spiritual or general life issues I'm having this book is my go-to. It actually helped me find crystals that could help me quit smoking and could help with my weight loss, I'm a big believer and you have to believe it to achieve it so knowing that I have the ability to go search out stones on my own knowledge to help me through my hardships is very empowering. I would definitely recommend this book to someone who's starting their spiritual journey with crystals or just wants to be more educated on what crystals have what attributes

The book was is good shape and has a lot of interesting features.

A fantastic resource, with information about each crystal's physical and reported metaphysical properties. Each description has a statement or suggestion for an affirmation to use while meditating. Fantastic index by crystals, and listing by purported health benefits. The organization by color is fun, and handy for identifying crystals, although not so much if you just want to find a particular stone right away. (Ex: all the flourite types are scattered by color.) My biggest issue is that the print is so small, I had to use a magnifier or my husband's "cheaters" to read it. Also, some detail sections are white print in a beige box, which is nearly impossible to read. That's the main reason I did not feel I could give it a 5 star review.

I'm so thrilled that I chose this book. There are so many minerals I haven't heard of, and I like the thorough information, with corresponding candle color and fragrance.Its going to be a great reference book for building my collectionUPDATE 7 16 20: Upon further review I notice that a Zodiac Sign and one of the Guardian Angels is misspelled. Its supposed to be Pisces and Hamaliel.Also according to the Birthday Chart it says my Chinese Zodiac is a Tiger which is wrong.For future reference its best to Google these Angels associated with your Sign.

It’s undeniably a great book, and as such it should’ve been proof read. It displays several typos, punctuation errors and at times coherence.

Loved that his book has pictures to compare the crystals to, as well as their healing properties! Look forward to identifying my own from now on! Easy to navigate through and love that it's a paperback!
