Coast A8R-GRN Rechargeable Inspection LED Penlight, Green

I've always been against pen lights because they're either not bright enough, not rechargeable or simply too large to keep comfortably in my shirt pocket. This little guy changed all that.Is it shooting a beam of light? Of course not, but it is certainly bright enough for all 'pocket pen light' applications. It is fantastic for under dash work, checking behind panels and quick inspections. Its got an awesome lense that sends out a perfect circle of light, and the fact that its rechargeable via a USB charger is so nice. I've also dropped it many times and it continues to be a badass and keep on lighting.I often hold my flashlight with my mouth to free up both hands. This thing is so light i can easily hold it with my lips and even manipulate it to point where i want.I would absolutely buy it again.

Bought the larger chrome coast rechargeable lights and loved them ordered this and was happy overall with it but battery life was too small for my purposes so gave to my daughter who loves to play with it super small and portable and she uses it as spotlight for her dolls because of the amount of brightness. Would suggest for someone who can be near charger all day lasts 20 mins of continuous use which wasn't enough for me but coast tells you this when you're ordering it so its not a big deal at all. Overall am happy with construction and brightness of light though.

Not bad, quick charging but not really rugged enough for work. Kept it at home.

Bought this for my son he said it works great and he loves it

It is a great little pen light except it doesn’t always work. Half the time it flickers on/off. Light output is not bright which for working under the hood/dash it’s perfect as it doesn’t blind you from the reflection.

Nice and small like I wanted, only worked for about 4 months and every time I take it out to use it now it won't turn on. I have to put in on the charger for 1 second and take it off and it works again. The battery is fully charged. I then put it back in my pocket and minutes later have to do the same procedure to make it turn on. Would love to return it but Amazon won't let me. Seller really should contact me to replace it free of charge

It's small and powerful. I also have the A9R. another great light from Coast. The A8R is smaller, both are great for working on control panels, the A8R fits nicely in my pocket with my pocket screwdriver and Non Contact Voltage Detector. The A8R charges fast. and last a long time.

This light is great! The light is bright enough to see far, ceilings, under floors... It is so light that I can wear it around my neck and it clips on so I don't loose it. Worth every cent!
