Simple, elegant and effective
Living near to a park we do get the occasional bird flying into our windows - as they see the reflected trees and not the window - this great product allows the birds to see the ultraviolet of the design where we just see some nice butterflies! Since fitting these we’ve had no more bird strikes :)

Wouldn't be without. Window Alert Butterfly x4
Placed strategically, they work extremely well. Since applying have not had any more bird casualities. Am delighted with them. They are discreet and not intrusive in anyway. When placing for the first time I realised that the trees and hedgerows were reflected beautifully in my windows and no wonder that the birds thought they could fly through. Have since ordered more for other windows and garden sunhouse/studio. Highly recommend.

Birds strikes have reduced since using these stickers
I have been using these stickers on two very large all glass sliding doors for over 18 months and we have definitely had a significant reduction in the number of bird strikes. They are not 'invisible' to the naked eye but are not very distracting and less so as you get used to them. They have remained firmly stuck to the windowsfor 18 months and have not discoloured even in intense sunlight. For the price they are worth a try. Recommended.

Great so far!
So far, so good. I bought 2 packs of these as birds were hitting my daughters bedroom window quite frequently. I initially put 1 pack (4 butterflies) on the inside of the window, this reduced the number of strikes but didn't stop them. So I put them, and the second pack on the outside of he window. In 5 weeks we have had no bird strikes, fingers crossed it continues (although our cat isn't impressed)

NEITHER USE NOR ORNAMENT
I have left a while to write a review because I could not believe how ineffectual these Window Alerts were initially and over time have proved to be neither use nor ornament. It may be that we have corralled all the visually challenged feathered friends in our county and more specifically our back garden which could be one reason why they routinely collide with our patio doors; another reason is that the Window Alerts actually encourage them because we have never seen any evidence that they have been discouraged. All-in-all the Window Alerts are absolutely useless other than our grandchildren think the are 'cool'. It is a shame they have now added to the world hard plastic recycling problem.

Alas these dont seem to work
As the other reviewer has said these stickers are not as invisible to humans as the advert gives the impression, unless you are looking out on grey skies, instead they appear as a frosted plastic shape, which is fine as they dont look bad.THE PROBLEM is that even having followed the advice and put them on the outside of the windows to make sure the bird see the side intended for them we have still had birds bouncing off both back patio doors (standard size) and front windows, all they tried to do is fly around between the stickersOurs is a through room so we know the birds are seeing through from one side of the house to the other, which is why we decided to put the windows alert stickers on the windows to prevent this. Unfortunately we have seen no improvement since doing so. One sparrow dead last weekend, a collared dove stunned this morning and numerous impressions of other birds which have hit the windows in mid flight:(Is a shame as we really had hoped these would work. Note the shape we purchased was the butterfly shape, though I dont imagine the other shapes would have been any more successful.

so easy to apply
Arrived quickly put them up same day on windows in the sun room, so easy to apply, we had previously had three bird strikes in one week nothing more distressing than to hear a thud and feel so helpless. There has been none since putting up these wonderful butterflies decals such a fantastic idea/design thank you very much we can now enjoy the birds in the garden feeding without the fear of them being harmed.
