Sportplus Indoor Rowing Machine

(Note "update" below.) Apart from awkward foot pedal mountings the assembly was straightforward. The machine is quite heavy and takes up a fair bit of space, but it is very sturdy and so far has coped well with my 128 kgs - near the upper design limit. Have been using it for over a month and there are no problems yet, although the seat has started to squeak a bit (don't blame it, really!). Very pleased with the purchase - highly recommended!UPDATE: Bought July 2017, now August 2018 - used intermittently for first 10 months, then in May was told I was morbidly obese (128kg) so set a tough regimen of 40 mins a day, 5 or 6 days a week and am now 112kg and dropping. However, machine is wearing out and stroke is now very juddery, with bits of black debris falling out the bottom - no way it would have lasted the 1 year warranty period if I had used it this way from the start. Looking to get a new machine with a bit more staying power.

I have been using this exstensivly now , and really blooming hard too, its an awesome piece of gear.simple to set up too,as many of the pieces are already assembled from the box and the nuts n bolts as such are carefully numberd too on a piece of card. So there is no way of getting muddled up in the asembly process. an hour and a bit tops to set this up with a lil break inbetween if you wish :)But there is on thing that slightly bugs me so far, I cant really feel that confident of yanking on the handles to give myself a really good heave for each row, because i am a lil scared that i will break the darn handle, it should of been made of metal, that being said. The whole strucuture is really, really solid for what your paying for it.. so big thumbs up there. I'am sure it could take more weight than sudgested but they have to safe guard themselves , which is fair enough.As far good pice of kit, and although it came from Germany.. it came within five days :))

Very good value for money. Provides good resistance even on low settings. Nice smooth action. Have had a few different rowing machines over the past 10 years and this is by far the best one I have owned to date, which I use 2 to 3 times a week.

Arrived before expected date. It was very easy to assemble as all the bits and pieces were numbered and the booklet gave us clear step by step instructions.My husband and I used it a few times already and it's really quiet compared to the one I used in the gym. The seat is comfortable,there is plenty of lenght on the stroke and the monitor gives you time,distance,rowing stroke, etc.I use level 5 and 6 wich is a good workout, but anyone who wants to build muscles can use level 8.Some comments would say that this machine is not as strong as the one in the gym, but I found it excellent for home .My husband and I are very pleased so far.Recommended to anyone who wants a good body workout in the comfort of own home.

This is a nice little rowing machine for the price. The tension controls are good.It was fairly easy to assemble.It does squeak a bit on the seat when I row, but then I weigh 110kg.

Such a great machine was not expecting it to be so good for the price amazing value for moneyMy other half put it together for me he used his own tools and said it was quite easy to assembleI’ve used it a few time already and it’s really quite compared to some of the othersCouldn’t be happier with this

For the money this is an excellent rowing machine. It arrived very promptly and is quiet in use, it provides a good cardio workout and is great for general conditioning. The only slight criticism is polystyrene!!!! It was everywhere in tiny bits all over the hall and up the stairs, tidying up was as much of a workout as the first session on the machine - these days well crafted corrugated card work very well!!

Arrived two days early. As we are oldies it did take us a couple of hours to assemble. Should have let the kids do it. Looked at the reviews which is the reason we selected this. Not disappointed. It's easy to read computer and comfortable seat makes this great to use. Only been using for several days and already feel my stamina has improved. Thoroughly recommend this product.
