Very satisfied
Exactly as I expected it to be, well made, good edge. I removed the protective coating and added my own patina to the knife, it came out great. So far the blade is hold up well, takes and keeps a good edge and the sheath allows for a edc carry. This was a good buy.

That feel ⛄️🏴☠️
Dang it feels good in the hand. Can’t wait to use it. lol I’ll update in 10 years. By then it might just be broken in perfectly. Great knife 🔪 feels like a high class revolver lol 😂. Should give a life time of use as long as it isn’t abused.

Crazy awesome
Don't do this often, but this is an impressive setup. I spend my time as a biker always using my knife. I took a chance on this because all my pocket knives couldn't take the abuse I gave them. This knife is crazy tough, I use it to baton, build fires, cut food and everything else a blade does. It holds an edge, very sure I've never owned any steel like this. The belt clip is perfect, just perfect. I'm taking this knife with me into the zombie apocalypse.

Comfort and combersomeness
Both comfortable and cumbersome. Really sharp. Good sheath that's easy to wear and quality in material and construction. In the woods in Alabama it is to short to machete and to long to bush craft. It is an esee. Yes it is comfy in hand and very sharp. It isi an end of days knife without a question. More comfy than the square handles on the regular esee. Going to war? Take this guy. Going camping? Get an esee 4 or something a little more maneuverable.

How does this knife have so little reviews?
This was not my first ESEE knife, but it was the first one I took a risk on. I’m glad I did.I can honestly say that this design appealed to me from its first Blade Show appearance. I’ve used the original ESEE 6 and wasn’t impressed, but the 6HM design had something else. It had lines that went back a couple of centuries and that’s what I was looking for. Something more capable in all things “knife”. I got what I wanted. The mixture of weight, length, and balance along with blade shape and thickness, which is nearly 5/32” after the flat grind, is amazing. It’s not a medium sized bush knife and not a large, but somewhere in between. It’s good though. Very good. And if you know ESEE, the fit and finish along with the grinds and tempering are great! I’m very satisfied. It’s hard to go wrong with an old school design like this made with modern methods by those that are considered to be among the best production knife makers.

Never bring a gun to a knife fight!
I have a small arsenal of bushcraft/survival knives. This one has been on my list to buy for a while. Being able to attach the large "survival" pouch to the front of the sheeth is what sold me. This has become my go to edc. Amazing knife overall. It's a brute. It will not let you down in the field. Bravo ESEE!

Better than less expensive alternatives
Really nice fixed blade knife made in the USA. I like the Micarta handles a lot, which are easily removed for cleaning if needed.
