Fantastic keystones, real time savers
I bought a set of these to finish the in-wall wiring in my new place. I decided to try these and I must say that I am quite thrilled with the results. By the time I had adjusted to how to use them (it's pretty intuitive if you briefly study the photos on the item listing), I was able to knock out a termination in about two or three minutes per end. The channels that hold the wire make it easy to lay everything out and they hold the cable in place well enough to make short work of the task.My biggest complaint is the same as a lot of other reviewers: they are very tight fitting into the wall plates; at least the cheap 1 keystone plates I bought when I ordered these. They will eventually go in but it takes an almost unsettling amount of force to get them in. Once they're in, it is hard to get them out.I'll add that one of the 10 in the pack I got had mangled leads inside the RJ45 jack so it was useless. I don't know how common this is. Fortunately, I only needed to use 6 of them to finish my wiring. These were a great option for someone only looking to do a few terminations. It is cost effective since you don't need to spend money on a punch down tool that you may never use again. They aren't that expensive but if you can get away without the extra expense then why not?I would give these a 4.5/5 if Amazon allowed half-stars. The damaged piece I received and the very tight fit are the only things that keep them from being an indisputable 5/5 for me.

These are the only ones I'll ever buy - it's that GOOD!
I have never made these type of network connections before, but needed to fix the ethernet in my office. I looked at YouTube and learned me some lessons, y'all. I have 15 port to do, and I looked locally at Home Depot and Menards, but limited selection and lots of money for what I needed. IF I had purchased these at those stores, I would have needed a 110 impact driver to seat the wires in the metal corridors. These AMPCOM ones required no tools and were just 30% of the cost of what I could get locally. I was still leary. The product arrived the next day. These connectors are not flimsy. I was impressed with how solid everything was made and I am sure that you will be, too. I looked at the rotating mechanism that pulls the wires into the metal grooves and thought it might be hard to crank them down. I was wrong.I successfully put the first one together with success the first time. It was easy. By time I did my third one, I had figured out exactly how to best route the wires and then the assembly process was just effortless. As noted, these are what I will buy. People like LeGrand would be wise to buy this technology, but they would rather sell you a special $45 tool that only works with their ends and charge more for the ends. For $45 I could do 30 ports with these AMPCOM connectors.Note: I am a mechanical engineer, but know very little about electrical/computer engineering. Just because I'm an engineer, doing this job wasn't any easier. I'm sure a degree in common sense will allow you the same success as me!

Very easy to use and reuse if necessary.
I really like using these! These are the only keystones I've used for my home and I love them! They are sturdy and very easy to set your wires into and the twist type locking mechanism to cinch everything down is really nice, because you know that the wires have a solid contact within the keystone itself. After the wires are in, just trim off the extra with some flush cutters and boom, done. But if you mess up with the wiring, say you did pattern A instead of B, all you have to do is twist the back lock and open the rear of the keystone and make any changes or replacements you may need.I highly recommend these and I am happy with my purchase.

Snug fit but easy to use when you know how.
I was running several cables to a hallways closet from our living room to get rid of unsightly cords running across the floor and under mats. These worked amazingly well for the price and after I figured out how to use them properly. It didn’t come with instructions so I tried sending the CAT6 cord from the side at first (which worked), but was probably crimping/damaging some of the cables. I realized that you’re supposed to put the cable through the hole in the back piece and that made it much easier.I also was originally having trouble by trying to arrange the cables neatly onto the Jack portion, before I realized you position your 8 wires into the channels that are on the “crimping” piece.I definitely made it easier to remember what colored wires go where with the colors printed on the jack.My biggest complaint was that these were either too big or the faceplates I bought were too small, because I had to use a flathead screw driver to actually get the jacks into the faceplate.Overall, definitely would recommend for people who don’t want to spend lots of money on the crimping tool, or just want an easier time connecting the cables/making sure colors are correct.

Highly recommended!
I ordered the 10-pack of white Cat5e tool-less keystone modules and have already used all ten. The only tools needed were to strip the ends of the cable jackets off prior to assembly and then to clip the excess ends of the wires off after assembly. Placing the individual wires into their positions and mating the two halves of the keystone modules together was simple and the modules locked nicely together. The modules were clearly labeled for use with either the T568A or T568B wiring scheme. I chose T568A for consistency since other jacks in my home already used T568A. Once completed, I tested the jacks with an RJ45 wiring tester and all passed. Further testing with GbE traffic showed no errors. It is worth mentioning that keystone wall-plates typically come with 1, 2, or 3 positions per vertical column. These AMPCOM tool-less keystone modules are too large to be used three per column. This means you cannot fill all six positions of a single-gang 6-position wall-plate with these keystones. However, you should be able to mix them with other keystones and be okay. For example, I used a single-gang 6-position wall-plate and put two of these keystones in the top row and two in the bottom row. I then placed two F-type coax keystones in the middle row. This worked great for me. Again, I highly recommend these modules.
