AK47 Bayonet Knife

The positives; Nice fit and finish and a very sharp edge. If you end up in hand-to-hand combat with a grizzly, this bayonet will come in very handy. But an Ak 47 bayonet, it ain't. This gadget will not fit over a muzzle break. If you take the muzzle brake off but your Ak accommodates a cleaning rod underneath the barrel, then you are again out of luck because the formation that holds the rod in place will interfere with bayonet and will not allow it to seat properly. In other words, this will only fit over smooth muzzle, no cleaning rod, and the gun must have a bayonet lug. I have not seen this combination yet. Regardless, I decided to keep this gadget as a hunting knife. It is not worth returning it.

This will not fit your AK. Im not wasting my time to try to get a refund from this company. solid knife but very misleading as it will not fit onto your AK as a bayonet.

This item is of acceptable quality but it will not mount on my AK. My AK was manufactured by Century Arms with an American made barrel and receiver and the barrel ring on this product is too small to fit over the barrel.

I bought this with the intention of not actually using it on an AK, but its true it does not fit on my AK. Mine is a romanian model AK, the knife is made for a russian model. It says CCCP on the blade so obviously an old model AK

This does not fit on my AK but I'm perfectly fine with that. This is a heck of a knife for 12 bucks and there's no practical need for a bayonet anyway. If a bayonet is necessary then you're too close! It's still a neat knife and the price suggests that it's a low risk investment so I'm perfectly happy with this product.
