Forget the rest give them the best
Applaws cat food in the fish flavor has been a hit with both my British Shorthair cat and Ragdoll kitten! They both absolutely love it, and it complements their Applaws dry food perfectly, making it a great choice for a balanced diet.Pros:1. Irresistible Flavor: Both cats are obsessed with the fish flavor. Mealtime has become their favorite part of the day!2. High-Quality Ingredients: Applaws uses real fish and no unnecessary fillers, so I feel confident in the nutrition I’m providing.3. Easy to Digest: Both cats, despite their different ages and breeds, tolerate it well with no tummy issues.4. Perfect Pairing with Dry Food: Works great as a wet food option alongside Applaws dry food for variety and complete nutrition.5. Soft Texture: The texture is ideal for my Ragdoll kitten, making it easy for her to eat, while the British Shorthair loves it too.Cons:1. Small Portions: The portions could be slightly larger, especially for bigger or more active cats.2. Pricey: It’s a premium product, so it’s more expensive than some other brands, but the quality makes it worth it.Overall Opinion:Applaws fish-flavored cat food is a fantastic choice for cats with a taste for seafood. Its high-quality ingredients and compatibility with Applaws dry food make it a great addition to my cats’ diet. Seeing both my British Shorthair and Ragdoll kitten happy and healthy is worth every penny. Highly recommended!

Kitten adores this, never leaves a morsel
My kitten is a very fussy eater and was eating barely anything so I got these to try to tempt her to eat something, even if it's not a complete food. As soon as I opened the can she went mad - jumped up on the worktop to get to it which has never happened before - and ate every morsel, even licking the mat in case she'd missed any! I only gave her a small amount the first time to make sure it didn't disagree with her but it was fine and she will happily eat an entire can in one go given the opportunity! She likes all the flavours but the sardine is her favourite, it's a shame you can't buy a tray of it on it's own. It smells and looks like what it's made from and has a nice soft texture for her once mashed with a fork. It has visible bits of rice in but she eats it all. It's expensive as cat food goes but some great offers can be found and it's worth it to know she's eating something so good. It's an occasional treat as it's not a complete food but a guaranteed hit every time with my fussy Pumpkin Puss. Highly recommended

Good food, needs better packaging
I bought these instead of the tins of food as I thought they'd be easier to use and easier for my kitten to eat. Whilst the cat adores this food and seems to like the texture more than the tins, I find they can be temperamental to open. The pack is quite a sturdy material, almost paper like - different from the foil type packages food like whiskas etc comes in. This isn't the easiest to just tear open which I had hoped for convenience. For being in broth, it can be quite dry - not much liquid and the food tends to stick to the packet rather than coming out with any liquid and when it's stuck up the top, ripping the packet open can be impossible to do smoothly - you end up ripping at a slant and food goes everywhere and it's not great when you are feeding one pouch in smaller portions throughout the day. Even if I wear to resort to scissors, there's going to be food in the way and it's just a bit of a faff. You also have to try and scrape it out rather than it coming out smoothly. There's usually a bit of residue in the tins but I'd estimate there's about a quarter of the food gets stuck in the sachet.I bought both the chicken and tuna so have two boxes where this is happening so it seems to be a product issue rather than a bad batch, though perhaps it was a storage issue - if the warehouse was cold, maybe? Regardless, I am seriously considering switching back to the tins for ease of getting out the package. Once my kitten moves on to having his wet food once a day the tins will certainly be a quicker process, but I cannot fault the actual food itself so far.

Finally something my fussy Maine coon will eat!
I have an extremely fussy Maine Coon and was desperate to find a wet food she would actually eat to help get more moisture into her diet. I’ve tried every brand out there including Purina, Felix, Lily’s Kitchen, even the very expensive fresh-frozen Marro. She did like Marro but unfortunately it upset her stomach. Everything else she turned her nose up at.This is the only food she will eat straight away with no issues. She absolutely loves it and I’m assuming it’s due to minimal fillers and ingredient's. I know it’s not a complete meal, but I only use one pouch a day alongside her complete food, and it works perfectly. It’s been great for her hydration and causes no tummy troubles.Although There is quite a bit of broth and the texture is quite soft and mushy, but she seems to love that. If you have a VERY fussy cat and want to add moisture to their diet, I highly recommend giving this a try. It’s been a total game changer for us.

Don’t recommend
I get that it’s meant to be decent food but the quantity is really small and its extremely hard to get out the packet without a spoon. Also the smell was horrid and the ‘broth’ is really watery so be careful when opening the packet as it spayed everywhere! Don’t think I’ll purchase again I’m afraid. Gave 2 stars as kittens ate it all!
