Excellent shoes.Light and airy and incredibly comfortable. I was wary of shoes to wear without socks as I was expecting rubbing and blisters, but I've had no problems at all. Great for everyday wear around town as well as walking. Regularly do countryside walks of around 5 to 6 miles and they have been excellent for these.Only downside, but you'll get this with any open shoe, is that occasionally a small stone or some other debris will slip in under the foot.

I have arthritis in my feet so I was looking for walking shoe type sandals that were firm underfoot. These are perfect for me. Comfy from day 1, I would recommend them. 5*I saw a post mentioning the lack of a foot back stop.No such issues with my shoes.

These would be a lot more comfortable with a solid back/ as it is they do nothing to stop the foot sliding out.
