A Worthwhile Investment w/a Quick Setup
The media could not be loaded. If you have any Mazda CX-5 2017 or newer, you should definitely invest in this dashcam compared to traditional ones that are suction cupped to the windshield and take up viewing space. Here are some quick details:I installed this on my 2018 CX-5 Sport.- 4K resolution (extremely clear image)- Love the 24/7 recording option- Extremely quick and easy to install- App is not laggy or buggy- Comes with a 64gb microSD cardDetailed review:Video Quality -The 4K resolution provides crisp and detailed footage, which ensures that you capture every detail on the road. This is especially important as the last thing you want is to be involved in an accident, but the video be too blurry to grab license plates or street names for crucial details that your insurance will require when you need to file a claim. The video feed is wide angle so it captures the entirety of what is directly in front of your vehicle and a decent amount of peripheral vision. It also has a 1.6 aperture lens that helps during nighttime/low light conditions.Ease to Install -Installation took maybe 5 minutes for me to remove the old plastic cover that sits behind the rearview mirror and install the new one. Just make sure all clips align when installing the new custom cover, as it will not snap shut if they are misaligned. Also, make sure the power cable is pulled through the little custom hole so you maintain access to it when you connect it to the rest of the power cable. Due to me having the Sport trim level, I do not have a sunroof, meaning I had to use the fuse box power connector rather than the sunroof connector that you are able to use on any other trim level. The longest part of everything was simply routing the cable behind the trim of the car. Using a very thin wire/string and tying it to one end of the power connector really helps with pulling it through tight spaces. I'd say the max time this would take, and only if you are busy searching for tools on hand to help you route the cable, is 30 minutes. If I had any trim level other than Sport, I think it could be installed in a maximum of 15 minutes as routing the power cable won't take nearly as long.App -The app is incredibly easy to use. All you have to do is download the app, then connect to the camera's wifi in your phone's settings menu. Then return to the app, and it'll auto-connect to the dashcam, allowing you to view the live video feed, view previous recordings, and adjust a multitude of settings to your desire. If you're using an aftermarket wireless carplay radio like I am, you can even download the app to your radio and control everything from locally within your car!Storage -It comes with a 64gb microSD card which should last for about a weeks worth of driving 1.5-2hrs a day. But it is expandable all the way up to a 256gb microSD card if you want to quadruple the amount of space you have before the oldest footage is overwritten with new footage. There's also a g-sensor on the dashcam that will detect any sort of impact/shock and lock footage so it does not become overwritten, even when you're out of space. You can adjust the sensitivity of the sensor within the app. You can also lock footage manually using the app.Possible improvements -I do wish it had a built-in speedometer so it could capture speed in the event I was pulled over by a cop or received a ticket for speeding when I clearly wasn't. I also hope there is a new method of connecting the power to somewhere closer to the rearview mirror for us owners of the Sport trim level. Having a power connection that taps into the above-head reading light would make the installation process a lot quicker-- although I am not sure if they would provide sufficient power to the camera.Overall, this is a reliable, discreet, and feature-rich solution for Mazda CX5 owners. After seeing many accidents and wild driving both online and in person, I see this as a well worthwhile investment to protect myself in the event of an accident or being pulled over. Regardless of your choice, drive safe out there, y'all!

No customer support - wrong camera or poor quality control recirved.
Camera was delivered wed May 14. Due to rain and such I didn't get around to installing it until Saturday the 17th. In the meantime time I had watched the install videos so I had a general idea of how it goes together but had a few quedtions as install instructions are non existent. Email is apparently the knly point of contact unlesd you want to wait until they get back from wherever in thier chat box. Figure on 24 hour response. After running the wires from the back to the ftont- not hard just take your time- i went and took appart theoverhead assembly- again not hard- thats where things went wrong. The cable for the front camera isnt long enough to vlear the camera housing and the pigtail supplied isnt long enough to reach into the camera assembly. Bedt guess is its approx 2-3 inches to short. Ever video shows a long cable which would work. My attempts to contact support are wasted as it appears i will be waiting until at least tomorrow to be told its the wrong camera or wrong cable or who knows what. Bottom line it may or may not work but customer support is in name only. I would note I purchased the front and back cameras for my wife's Mazda CX5. In the

Plastic feels cheap, hard to fit together
The plastic is rather cheap feeling, and trying to push the two pieces together around the thebrear view mirror is almost impossible. Only time will tell how long this plastic will last before crumbling apart.
