BUYER BEWARE!
Enjoyment was short lived. Purchased in July, was going well. Now, November, the unit powers itself off or freezes then powers off. Contacted seller to find warranty details, seller says "Since you bought a discount product, we may not provide warranty service." In other words, there is no warranty on this device. BUYER BEWARE! Also, I had contacted the manufacturer of the device who promptly closed my ticket inquiring about the warranty twice. No warranty! This has caused me to be sure to insure my device with a Sq Trade warranty service (I hate assurant and as they screwed around with me on one too many occasions).

Also remote is not good for viewing on netflix because you can't use it ...
tried using the Ethernet connection and all video was choppy. Had to switch to wireless to get this fixed. I used a different box before without any issues on ethernet so K3 seems to have an issue there. Also remote is not good for viewing on netflix because you can't use it to select you episodes. I had to switch to keyboard to move mouse around to select an episode. I think the remote should be able to do the basic stuff since I have used other boxes that could.

Too many issues to make this worth it.
I bought this unit with high hopes. I was thoroughly disappointed. There are so many issues it is almost a joke that this item is still on the market. I had a high speed internet connection so it was not an issue won my end. I tested this unit out for two weeks and couldn't return it quick enough.1. The interaction between the remote and the unit is the worst problem, This unit is recognized as basically a glorified smartphone that uses your tv screen as it's screen. It would be easier to operate if your tv was a touch screen but it's not. So the interaction with either remote is extremely cumbersome. The Keypad is much easier to use than the simple remote but neither are user friendly.2. Netflix does not recognize this unit, so Netflix can't be downloaded from Google play. Instead it must be downloaded and installed using the chrome browser and installing a program for "phones" with app conflict issues. I installed several versions trying to get it to work and always had choppy performance issues. Trying to navigate thru Netflix with the remotes was so frustrating that I gave up on several occasions.3. HBO Now would not play sound no matter how I worked with the unit.4. Amazon Prime was "figity" but worked OK.5. Hulu was choppy and the resolution seemed grainy and dull.I had such high hopes for this because I want to find a unit that I can network with my home system and watch all my downloaded movies. This unit would network and connect to my storage system, so I guess there is one positive. But not worth the headache.
