Epson L565 All-in-One Wireless Ink Tank Colour Printer

Okay so I have been using this printer for 6 months now and I am writing down in detail about its positives and negatives.Firstly, great timing on delivery by Amazon and such safe packing and delivery. Pristine Condition! Now, onto the product itself, if you're looking to buy it please read every following point weigh in your options and then decide for yourself :-1) Epson Promises 4000:6000 honestly, its not even close. I have printed almost 3000 colored and 1000 b&w and I had to refill it twice. Now, some would argue that my quality settings may differ so, I would suggest you to read point no. 4.2) Heating Up : After printing almost 15 - 20 pages, the printer head heats up and takes almost a minute to print 1 page. Of course, timing may vary depending upon the quality settings.3) Biggest flaw with L565 is that doesn't support borderless printing. There will always be a margin which you can remove. Believe me i have tried fooling it by loading smaller size of paper but, to no avail.4) Now Keeping Point no 1 & 2 in mind, I would also point out that after 1 month it will start showing lines while printing. Now, these lines appear when printer head is not clean however, this is a persistent issue with this printer. I have two of these same make & model both purchased from different vendors and still no difference in performance. As i was saying, this printer does have an in-built printer head/nozzle cleaning option which works perfectly fine but, after 2 month or depending upon your usage these lines will start appearing on your standard quality settings. Keeping in mind i like things absolutely perfect, I increased the quality settings to high and it vanished. This simply means, excessive unnneccessary usage of ink.5) Built in Wi-fi : Now, I am not sure whether this is a problem with my printer or adsl but sometimes it skips IP resulting in disconnection. However, if you switch it off and then on it again it will work until its next heart attack.6) Great Epson Connect : One of the best features of this printer is the options available for printing. I have literally printed papers via email while being in another city because i needed a file and there it was just as I commanded.7) Scanner. Best quality scanner I have seen so far. So it has two options for scanning. First,, the old photocopy waala bhaiya way where you lift the panel and put the card/paper on the glass and it will print and Second, the new photocopy waala bhaiya's son way where in you insert the papers it wil one by one and you either save it on your computer or print it directly.8) Fax : Again best in class fax machine. its efficient and quick. However, you will have to keep it in a standby mode all the time and biggest issue with this is it might crete an interference in the line if you're talking to someone on your other line. But, this was only twice in six months.All in Be patient and it will work effortlessly and magnificiently. It is a work horse. I have printed around 10000 pages in 6 months and boy it still brings a smile to my face when i see the quality of the print. I have printed my business cards from it on thick matte paper and they were much more better quality than the offset printers.

This is a very good product as of the available products in the present market. I having a shop and have effectively used the printer and well experienced saying that this can print exactly 2000 pages per filling of black ink in standard quality. An ink refill bottle is 300 inr and 300/2000=0.15 inr per page of b/w and it can print 1000 pages per fill if all the 3 inks which would cost u 900 inr printing 1000 pages costing 0.9 rupee per page in standard quality. This is the first printer I have used and I am so happy.The only disadvantage is it doesn't have duplex printings.

I use L565, L665 and also L6190 EPSON Ink Tank printers. I had a very bad experience with Canon Printers. Canon printers are very cheap to buy but the total cost of ownership and the per-page cost of printing is atrociously high. HP also fleeces the users in terms of cost of replacement of the Cartridges. I decided against both Canon as well as HP.EPSON printers are cost-effective, particularly the INK TANK printers. L565 and L665 are extremely reliable. But these printers are filled with the older version of the INK bottles. L6190 has a better ink-filling mechanism and an improved type of INK bottles.L565 and L665 are great for continuous scanning and copying. The Auto feeder and the matching software for scanning is really functional. L6190, though a good product with improved ink-filling techniques, does not allow saving of multipe-pages scanned into one single file.If you have to scan multiple pages into a single file, I will recommend, L565 or L665. Anyday, EPSON is far more cost-effective in terms of ToC and per-page cost, compared to either Canon or HP. Ravindranath

Pros : I am using this from last year - quality printing - color printing is OK as compared to laser ones - easy wifi connectivity - cloud printing you can print something remotely .. regular firmware updatescons: - ink gets stuck if you are not using it for long time - have to print 3/4 pages in week to get it going smoothly. need to suck the ink with empty syringe and then it works fine -- but be cautious if you do not know how to do t better call service person - app should be more user intuitive

Good PrinterInk Usage wise it’s value for moneyBut sometimes ADF doesn’t take documents smoothlyA line in middle of page comes in print , restart does the trick in resolvingSpeed is a bit slow but ok otherwise

It stopped working and giving various issues and errors now after a month time when I have purchased. There is no provision for registration of complaint.It was really very best Printer at the beginning . I purchased this post doing lots of comparison.It's the one which I am looking for.Seamless experience with wifi based technology. Epson iPrint is super easy to use.Giving best quality prints for both colors and B&W.

This product is amazing. Thanks to seller Jagadamba.Actually I tried a guess that the printer will not be bad as others mentioned on their comments. Really printer is very nice and has all features in it.In scanning, it creates less than 1 mb size file. you can zoom up to 200% and you will see the high quality.Very convenient of wifi feature, so can take print out from mobile and laptop. The cloud printing also so convenient.The small display is very useful all the time.There are lot more that i got impressed . I have been using it for 20 days, so no issues in it. I brought it for ₹16,500.

It’s an ink based printer, shouldn’t be expecting laser like crispness. That said, at a price tag of 16,399 for which one can find a decent wired color laser pinger, the output colors are a bit washed out, bold text appears smudgy. But yes, overall a very convenient machine and super easy to setup. I think it’s a good buy for kids daily assignments needs and / or for very small businesses. Heavy duty printing - go for laser please !
