These bats are awesome. They are way more better than one that came with the camera! They actually tell me on the camera how many ACTUAL MINUTES of battery I have remaining. My original battery only had a little battery gauge kind of like a gas gauge, do I really have half a battery left or not? But now I actually know. And the battery life is superb!! The last longer than the original battery does. And the charger is a must. I can charge one battery while I use the other one. Before I could only charge the battery while it was hooked up to the camera. They are bigger than the original battery. For my big hands this isn't a problem. I can still reach, activate and use all the controls on the camera. However, if you have Petite hands then this could cause complications. Overall I give this products 5 stars and would recommend to to anyone I know.

Awesome batteries and charger. My first batteries couldn't communicate with my HD Canon Vixia HFR 500. I was disappointed. I tried to work with them to see if I could get them to communicate with my camera. Nothing. Then I pulled them out a week later to use them and they were both dead. I contacted DSTE and they have awesome customer service. They immediately sent me out another set of batteries and wallah !!!! Perfect batteries. The camera communicates with the batteries and they each have about 170 minutes of recording time. No issues. The first batteries were obviously defective which happens sometimes. I give this product 5 stars along with the company. It's nice to do business with a reputable and professional company. I would highly recommend these batteries and charger and if you have a chance to purchase anything from this company you won't be disappointed!!!!

I don't have to worry about the "one bar left" icon when out shooting HD videos. They are exact replacements for the originals and give the same shooting time. It takes approximately two hours to recharge each battery, maybe a little more if you run them completely out (which you shouldn't do to any Li-ion battery). With two spare batteries plus the original, charging time is a non-issue for me. One thing I like is the charger itself is compact, which means when travelling it will fit in any camera bag or small space you have. I have not had the opportunity to use the 12v charger, but its nice to know its in the van should it be needed at a critical time. This extra reserve battery power is well worth the price paid. I ordered this combination charger/batteries and they were delivered the next day from Kentucky to my home in New Jersey so I was impressed with that. I selected standard shipping when ordered. The batteries are 2950ma as stated in the description (someone stated earlier that they were formerly advertised at 3200ma.) They did come with some charge on them but I was eager to test the charger so I popped one in and the power LED on the charger glowed red until the battery was charged, then the LED changes to green. The charger came with a car 12v adapter which is nice for charging in a pinch. The instructions on using the charger were printed on the box (in broken English of course which gave me a laugh), however no packing slip came with the package which I thought was strange. After popping the new battery in my Canon Vixia HF R500 the battery level was recognized by the camera so these ARE decoded batteries. If yours are not recognized by the camera you may have a defective battery. The battery level after a full charge was shown at 187 minutes and I will be using a self-powered microphone so hopefully battery drain will be as displayed. I'll follow this up with the results of the true battery usage at a later time.So, I give it 4 stars - fast delivery and good operation. I took one star off for no packing slip and poor instructions.

I needed batteries for my canon camcorder. These work. Battery life is slightly shorter than the original batteries I bought with the camera, but with a few of them and the cool charger they come with I think I will survive.

I haven't tried it yet in the camera Vixia 700 but I'm sure it will fit and work fine since it's decoded and the website said it would fit. What I love about this though is it's a wall charger, normally I have to charge the battery that came with my camcorder in the unit with a plugin cord. Messy, cumbersome and means haveing to unmount the camcorder from the tripod every time. This has a plug right into the wall unit and a car lighter cable. Not sure about charging in the car since it takes like five hours to charge one battery. The light goes off or to green when charged and is red when charging. Overall very pleased thus far with this purchase and I should be for thirty-five dollars, kind of a spendy deal. ​

I've used these all summer with some significant filming. They work perfectly. The battery life shows up in my view screen just like the original and they have good battery life. To be honest, I'm not sure how long they last. I am sure they can go 45 minutes. But, since I have the two plus the original, I change one out when it gets low or shuts off, throw it in the charger and put a new battery in the camera and keep going. I have been filming in locations where there is access to electricity.If you are going backpacking for days, I'd get another set and have five. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with these batteries.

Battery’s came as advertised and are intelligent batts gives you the life status on the camera and communicates with my canon HF R300

The batteries are as described. Time will tell how they perform as I use them with my video recorder. I would have liked to have seen a few more instructions on how to use the charger. There is some minimum operation description of how the charger indicator lights work on the side of the box. Overall, good quality.
