Incipio DualPro Case for ASUS ZenFone AR Smartphone - Iridescent Red / Black

I've been using this phone for a few months. So far it has been an amazing phone. The GUI is smooth and get straight forward. The app tray isn't clunky and loads all apps immediately. The picture and video are great. The call quality is very clear on both ends. The only issues I have have so far are with revocation services not always being accurate (sometimes it seems as though it has cardinal directions reversed) and occasionally apps will not install from the Google play store (but you can just get the APK file from the wed and install that way -- it will still sync Google after... Idk why but it works lol)

This case seems to be the only worthy case for the Asus ZenFone AR on Amazon. I've been using it quite a while now, the fit is perfect. I've dropped my phone a few times onto carpet with no damage to the phone or the case. It is thin and only adds just a hair over 1/8" thickness to the already thin phone.The volume and power buttons are easy to press, the rubber is not sticky and the red has a nice velvety soft touch to it. The red has a couple minuscule scratch marks from my keys, but that's expected. The audio port won't let some cables attach, but lets most I've used. The speaker, microphones, and charger ports are unobstructed and are well protected without having them covered up.Probably will not fit over a screen protector (but it might, it's just barely touching the screen), so in that case I'd recommend the Gadget Guard liquid screen protector (which is amazing in itself).A bit pricey, but not as much as an Otterbox case. Highly recommend.

This thing is awfully pricey compared with Incipio's other products, even other ZenFone cases, but it seems to be worth it. I've been carrying it around for a couple of weeks now and it still looks new. No drop tests so far, knock on... Ooops!

I love this case, it fits my phone perfectly. I have dropped it already on several different surfaces; cement, gravel, hardwood, carpet. My phone has remained safe and unhurt every time.

I'll start off by saying my order was shipped from Incipio themselves, so this isn't a case of getting a knockoff itek sold at full price... But it certainly feels that way. I've only had this case since around the middle of March(currently middle of May the same year at the time of writing). While it does feel like it has a sturdy enough build, the back is already scratched beyond belief and warn down just from putting it into, and taking it out of my pocket. I don't even cary anything in my pockets to rub up on it to wear the "paint" down. To put things into perspective, I had a $10 case for my ASUS Zenfone 2 that was also red, I had it for nearly 2 years and there was only minor scratches on it. Needless to say I am very disappointed with this $30 case. If you're in the market for an ASUS Zenfone AR case, perhaps try one of the cheaper ones first.

Pretty, and feels good in the hand, seems to be of solid construction though I wouldn't trust it in a fall as much as some other cases I've owned. My big complaint though is after only 3 days of light use (in my pocket for a couple hours a day) the pretty red colored layer has already rubbed off in a small 1 mm spot that is growing...
