Excellent transaction on cell phone
I am awed with the clear sound quality of this phone. I only needed basic service like text and making calls. This phone charges easily and stays attached during charge. Charge lasts for hours of talk time,,,very impressed!

It’s a really good basic phone
It’s a really good basic phone. Problem is the honesty of the vendor. The 1st phone I received the charging port door fell off the 1st day and the paint is 3 different shades of Orange, plus there’s no “O” key, just 2 “K” keys. The paints is also peeling off. Verizon read the serial number and the phone is supposed to be Green, not Orange. The vendor just spray painted the phone. The vendor gladly sent me another phone in “Orange”, this time the phone is registered as Silver. And again the paint is peeling and mismatched. Funny too the vendor didn’t want the first phone back. ???? It works , but needs a repaint and the charge port door replaced. Amazon was very, very helpful. Amazon doesn’t stand for misrepresentations on its sight. This vendor is a scammer. If he didn’t have an Orange phone, just say so. I would have bought the phone anyway, it’s just as nice in Silver or Green. Orange was just a reminder of the phone I had when I met my wife. Sentimental that’s all. But the vendor cobbing together parts from different phones, just to sell the most popular color 12 years ago? Really slimy. Don’t give this guy any of your business, plenty more honest vendors on Amazon. All the time I wasted, plus paying for 2 activations and a data transfer. This vendor owes me money!!!

Ok phone for small hands
I changed from Sprint to Verizon after being a Sprint customer for over a decade. I gravitated toward an LG phone because of what I felt was it's good reputation. I am a middle aged, six foot tall guy with average sized hands for a man. This was not the first LG I tried, this was the second after trying the Voyager which I was not pleased with mainly because of the fickle touch screen. I turned in the Voyager and picked up this orange version of the EnV as opposed to the silver version only because the upper inside left key is a short cut to other menus as opposed to only an email key on the silver. Not sure how the green EnV is laid out.My main complaint of this phone is that the buttons on the front are so close together that I had a very hard time choosing (for example) the bottom arrowed button and instead would get the ok button or the button below the down arrow. Same with all the keys on the face. This happened even when I tried to carefully do it. I am sure a woman with smaller hands would have no problem. I have no complaints about the buttons on the inside although they are a little closer together than those on the Voyager. I might as well throw in here that I also returned this EnV phone the very next day and after really reading through all these reviews on LGs on Amazon, settled on the Venus which I love. (I purchased the phones at Best Buy) Anyway, the ear speaker in the EnV performs more clearly than the Voyager but not as well as the Venus. Same goes for the speaker phone. Venus wins there too. Also, what bothered me about the EnV is the logic of actually using the phone and it's different functions. I much prefer the Venus because the button locations and choices it gives you makes more sense how it is designed and functions. The front screen on the EnV is so small that the print is hard to read too. The worst is how small the letters are on the front numbered buttons if you should happen to want to use them. They are tiny even for a young person's eyes! The Venus is easy to read, as is the Voyager. If a full keyboard QWERTY is not a necessity to you, then I would pass on this one and try a Venus. It's a bit more money at the time I am writing this, but well worth it in so many ways. I will be giving the Voyager three stars and the Venus five stars. Hope this helps.

Why the LG enV could have 1 more star
Overall, i fell in love with this phone...it has so many incredible features especially for the price. I was looking for a digital camera, an MP3 player, and a really good phone. Well buying this sort of killed three birds with one stone. I was very surprised to learn you can record a 1 hour video on the phone with sound! however, it can only be recorded to store on your phone...you cannot send it.I haven't downloaded music yet for the MP3 player, but I'm sure from what i heard it will be no different from the original thing itself. Int terms of listening to the music or video through the speakers, they're not the best of quality. If you record something kind of loud, it won't really sound like the thing you are recording....only kind of a loud blare...you can still faintly hear it though. The pictures are very clear (especially when outdoors). there are so many light features and shades and tones for the camera, it really is quite a deal. Indoors, however, the pictures can get a little grainy, but very seldom. it really depends on the lighting of the room. The films you can record do turn out a little grainy in comparison to the photos, and you can't move it fast at all or you'll just get a colored blur.Another thing that i could have changed if i was to be very picky, is the placement of the camera on the back of the phone. Granted it looks very cool, most people i show it to think its just a camera when closed. However, when you are holding the phone and texting, your fingers are right on top of the closed lens, which slowly shifts...it can get annoying how it slightly moves on your fingers when trying to hold the phone firm to text.on than these downsides, it a great, great Phone/Camera/MP3 player!

Finally had to replace
I have a smart phone.....but I also have the need to ACCURATELY text addresses and phone numbers to plumbers, painters, electricians and handymen. This crazy little phone, without trying to use the internet on it does exactly that. I have dropped it in a dishpan....it dried out and worked. I have dropped it of a roof during and inspection. It bounced. It is practically indestructible. Small screen...no problem. I can make my text large and use voice activated calling. Is it good to take pictures with NOOOOO, that's why the price Iphones, Pixels and other expensive smartphones the way they do. I have already ordered one for five years from now. Only thing that fails after time is charge port.
