Our pool light went out, and this bulb fit perfectly, fairly easily installation, just make sure to turn off all the breakers to the pool equipment and lights.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT test the bulb above water! I learned from some other installers that you must replace the bulb in the housing, seal it, and place the entire light housing underwater (just before screwing it back in) before you can test the bulb. I had no problems replacing the pool light bulb with this one. I just needed a Philips and a flat head screwdriver, and an adjustable wrench (multimeter for extra safety). Turned off the circuit breaker, double checked with a multimeter, used the Philips screwdriver to remove the 1 screw holding in the light fixture, and brought the light fixture out of the water. Then flat head screwdriver and adjustable wrench to remove the retaining ring that holds the seal, glass, and light housing together. Replaced the bulb, then did those steps in reverse order. Once it was all back in the pool and screwed in, I turned on the breaker and flipped the switch and Tada! The pool light came on! Hope this helps you!

Purchased 4 of these 1.5 years ago they lasted over 13000 Hours. However the 4 lights I just installed one only lasted 1/2 hour. The others are still going strong. Must be a defect.

Went and well, we’ll see how long it last

I order this item based on the reviews it didn’t look as good quality as the other bulbs I saw in Amazon. But I figured I’d take a chance. Very disappointing it work for like 2 days then it stop working it took it out and put my old bulb and it worked fine. I checked the current on the bulb him and there was no issuesI’d like to get another one just to see if its defectiveBut I haven’t heard from vendor yet.

Arrived in a few days - removed the burned out light and placed the new replacement bulb - I have a happy wife again!!!

This light works and is a great replacement for our in-ground pool light. We had thought we would have to replace the entire unit which is costly but found that all that was wrong was a dead light bulb.
