it seemed to do a pretty good job of sharpening our knives without too much effort. I'm not sure if they were the sharpest they've ever been, but good enough for me, I'd say. It's fairly big and chunky. Might not fit in a drawer that's already getting full.The way it's held makes it feel safe to use. I sharpened about 15 knives in about 15 minutes or so.I'm not too sure how long the finest sharpener will last. I could be wrong, but I wouldn't be surprised if it was the first thing to go. Only time will tell.Generally please with the purchase, but will have to wait to see if it lasts the distance.

We've lived with blunt knives for ages. This sharpener sorted them all out in about half a dozen strokes through each of the three steps.The product design is very good. It's bigger than I expected, with a flat rubber base to rest on the worktop. It feels robust enough to last. The handle is very comfortable to hold. Our knives now chop onions with very little effort.One important tip is that you need to pull the knives through in the right direction. Hold the sharpener in your left hand and pull the knife left to right. It doesn't work the other way.I can see what looks like exactly the same product with other branding sold at twice the price, but this doesn't seem like a cheap imitation - it seems to be genuine good value.

Nice and easy to use. It sharpens the knives real quick and you has to be careful index you sharpens the knives as they cut through anything quite easily. I had a one blunt knife with edges damaged now it is as good as new. More than worth the money you pay for this item. The three stages of the sharpening process is marked on the tool 1,2,3 so you don't even have to wonder which one the knife go in first!!

It’s ok I think you could buy a better one

I found this knife sharpener perfect for my needs. I have a couple of knives that I use everyday in cooking. After a few months the knifes started to get a little dull, not very blunt that they are dangerous to use, but quite annoying and requiring a little more pressure to cut with them. It took about three minutes with this sharpener and they started to work as perfectly as the day I bought them.I can't say I know much about knifves and knife sharperners, but it seems to me that this sharperner is quite robust and would probably last a long time. It's perfect for using at home. However, I can't speak for professional cooks.I highly recommend it.

Thought I might struggle a bit to get my ageing knives to sharpen, but this was a breeze. Well priced and easy to use. So much cheaper than having to buy a whole new set of knives. I'm impressed.

The media could not be loaded.  I used a simple 1 step sharpening before and it was about the same price as this one but it did last quite a long time. This one feels like it will not last as long, and although the sharpening steps and method is very simple, I find myself having to sharpen more often than needed, about once a week, and having to repeat sets of 10 strokes as opposed to just 5 stokes to see any noticeable difference in the knives.There was a more expensive one, different make, so I guess you get what you pay for. ALMATES fulfilled my purchase in a timely fashion and kept me up to date throughout, a great company to deal with and I would definitely recommend them. For the money, I am amazed by the workmanship of the B.PRIME knife sharpener itself and more importantly the results after using it. It sharpened my quality Sabatier knife set, which was totally blunt, in a matter of seconds per knife which shocked me as these knives are made from top quality hardened steel. The two stage system is a great idea with even better results. It is worth every penny.
