Finally a set that’s beginner friendly lol at least for me!! Comes with everything you need. Except you will need a glue gun. They give you a glue stick. This is adorable. I love that sets are starting to including little pins to help mark your progress so you don’t lose track or count! I’m having better luck with this yarn. Some yarns just fall apart on you. If you’re having troubles creating your magic ring or circle just search several videos, and it’ll help. Don’t be afraid to do it over and over again!

I always appreciate when crochet kits provide videos so that I can see what should be done as I try it on my own. This one includes both basic instructions stitches as well as instructions specific to this kit. I found the cactus video to move a little too quickly for me, and pausing or stopping it as I usually do when I needed to crochet myself wasn't very helpful. This requires a LOT of rewatching to catch what the instructor is doing.I'm a novice beginner who has started and stopped several of these sets. IMHO, this kit definitely feels like it needs more skill than others.

i really like it ,and im happy that they also give you a video of how to learn all of the stiches but i wished they also gave videos for left handed people as i am ,and have of a little hard time doing right-handed.

Got this for our teen daughter but so far she hasn’t been able to figure it out despite some online directions.. not great directions. Perhaps this would be best for someone with knowledge on how to crochet. It is a good kit with what I assume to be everything you’d need to make a cactus
