As another customer stated, the diffuser doesn't work unless you turn it on manually every time you want a burst of scent. Unfortunately I threw the box away before I realized it didn't work.

I've been using Airwick plug-ins for several years, but my walk-in closet has no electrical outlet. I needed to find something that will freshen the air in the closet and this seemed like the perfect solution. I am not going to use it in there, though, for 2 reasons. First, the mist shoots straight up from the top. This would work much better for my closet if it was aimed out instead of up, so that I could point it to the center of the closet. I don't feel like the scent circulates well. The second reason I won't use it in the closet is that I tried it in my bedroom, and really like it there! I may have to buy a second one for the closet.This was very easy to set up. Just open and install the batteries, choose one of the scents and install, and turn it on! There are 3 settings, so you can have a little scent or a lot of scent. And it turns off automatically after 8 hours and on again 16 hours later. One interesting thing is that even when I am sitting across the room, I can tell when the mister has activated because I get a whiff of the scent.This set comes with 5 scents to try. I was really excited to start with the pumpkin spice, a nice fall scent. Unfortunately, my excitement was short lived. The scent didn't really smell like the pumpkin spice I expected. Even worse, it gave me a headache, and I don't get headaches often. I was worried that maybe this wasn't going to work for. I've tried the other scents, now, and fortunately, none of the others have given me a headache. I expected I would like the Vanilla Caramel a lot, but it's really so-so. It smells a bit like burnt sugar, which isn't a bad thing, but it doesn't really smell vanilla-y like I expected. It didn't give me a headache, but it also doesn't have a lot of throw, so I can only smell it when I am near the diffuser. I like the lemon-thyme quite a bit, and the 'Sleep' (lavender) also smells nice and fills the room with scent. My favorite is the Hibiscus & Orchid.There are a few changes that would make this perfect. First is the above mentioned angle of the mist. But also, a rechargeable would be nice, instead of using one-use batteries. I'm not sure how big a problem this actually is though, since I've only been using the diffuser about a week. Another change I would make would be to put an adjustable timer on it, or a way to have it 'always on' so the room was scented throughout the day. And last, it would be nice if the bottles were refillable. I hate throwing all those bottles away! But for the price, this is a really nice diffuser!

Dependable and fragrance nuanced

I love these fall scents. It's not too strong and it covers the entire large room. It has a light scent to it.The plugin is very easy to use and set-up. I had no problems with it. It does heat up a little bit which is to be expected as it's acting as a warmer in mist form.

This Air Wick diffuser kit came with a good assortment of scents (fall, floral, spray for car).It even came with the batteries for the diffuser!It was easy to assemble, and there are different settings for the how often you want the diffuser to blow out the scent. It can range from an 8 hour to an 18 hour usage before the oil runs out in the capsule.If you have company coming and need to change out the scent in a room faster than a candle can, then this is the perfect item to have on hand!I will say that the scents are bit artificial up close (within a couple feet). However, once you step back, the effect is a removal of any offending odours, and nice aroma in the area of the diffuser. Just don't put it right next to where you are sitting.And fyi, this works fantastically in the room where the litter box resides. Do you have a cat that has odiferous "gifts"? Turn on this diffuser, and your cat will no longer be able take pride in the effect his litter box adventure has on anyone within a 20 foot radius! This diffuser is that great with its scent throw!Would also make a nice gift!
