This is got when I had a 4yr old coming in out of the home and they would sit on it and play with their toys sometimes just looking at the map and sometimes moving their toys from one country to the other. The 10, 12, 13,14 and 16 year old have all commented on it and how much they like it and the 10 yr old looked at while they were studying for their geography test its a great size and great value imo and could even work well as a tapestry

I recently purchased the Gathre baby play mat, and it has been a game-changer for our family! The mat is beautifully designed, with neutral tones that complement any room, and it’s large enough to give my baby plenty of space to play comfortably. Because I love this mat so much I actually wish I purchased the larger one!One of my favorite features is how easy it is to clean. This is my second Gathre mat, and the quality is definitely consistent. While I like the design and fancy packaging, I think the price will be a barrier for most people, especially for the larger mats. The fold lines have proven difficult to smooth out, but I really do like this company.

This is truly a lovely play mat. Not only is the design sleek and modern, it is compact, which is very helpful for storing when not in use. The map pattern is also educational and intrigues our toddler. One comment I have is about the material used. Reading the item description, it’s unclear whether the leather is genuine or vegan. The information is present, but it’s conflicting and, as a result, unclear.

This is my second mat from Gathre and I am pleased with it. It is easy to clean and durable. I like that this one (world map) can be hung up for educational decor or used on the floor. My only gripe (same issue with my other mat) is that the fold lines take FOREVER to flatten out. I've been using my high chair mat for months and can still see them. I expect the same from this mat. But it's still a useful functional item and aesthetically pleasing so I will overlook that "flaw" for now.

We own several Gathre mats, from changing pad size to bigger ones. I can speak to the quality and durability of these mats. We use this mat for several different activities: hanging on the wall as a map for homeschool preschool, using at the park as a picnic mat, using outside for our infant to crawl on, and under the high chair. Under the high chair is my least favorite option because I get paranoid that I'll stain it, but now having two of these (one for the past month, the other for three years) I can speak to the fact that these work great under a high chair to wipe up. It comes well packaged and with the care instructions. It's durable, pretty, and easy to clean when done correctly. Overall we just love the Gathre brand and find they are always worth the price.

This is a very lovely piece. The map is educational without being overbearing. It makes a nice, easily moveable, comfortable mat to get down on the floor, or outside on the ground with young children. You can brush off the back/suede side and wipe off the front side. The stitching is straight. I am not sure it is worth the price though. The tag says it is 72% non leather substances and 28% leather fibers. I would like to know more about the substances. The tag also says, made in China, do not machine wash, do not iron, do not dry clean. You can tumble dry at medium heat for 5 minutes. My mat still has creases after tumbling and laying flat for three days. It is soft, and comes in a nice box, ready for gifting.
