Incredibly fun, lots of detail, handful of minifigures and overall great Lego set!
This Lego set is brilliant! This is a Bat-Space-Shuttle and it perfectly encapsulates Lego Batman's over the top collection ofvehicles ("toys" as the Joker calls them). Just as we would expect from Lego Batman, it is an all-black and very dark grey Lego brick playset.Features:Rocket body and boosters, space shuttle, three Bat suits (featured in the Lego Batman movie), Bat-Kayak (one of the funniest parts of the Lego Batman move is when Robin not only regocnizes the Bat-Kayak, but gets star struck over it), the Bat-lunar rover and three minifigures. The space shuttle totally disconnects from the rocket body, and comes off the launch pad whcih makes the rocket and space shuttle their own individual vehicles that kids can play with. There are a handful of stickers and features on the shuttle that make it a little more cool than a plain old space shuttle. Bat decals, control pannels and the lable "Bat Shuttle" all adorn the set. The lunar rover fits perfectly inside the space shuttle, which is fun. The Bat kayak looks very cool, but does not float. The suit rack slides left and right, mimicing the way Robin cycles through them during his tour of the Bat cave in the Lego Batman Movie. There is also a three-pannel 'puter' with a keyboard and screens showing vitals for space batsuit and warning of Catwoman's breakin.Of note, this set can connect to Lego Batman Movie set #70909, Batcave Break in, allowing you to expand the Bat cave with this 'add on'.Minifigures:This set only comes with three minifigures: Dick Grayson/Robin in regular clothes (blue jeans and red sweater), Batman (in Black Batsuit with Batarangs and grappling hook) and Catwoman (in Purple suit with a whip). This is a little low, in my opinion, for a set of this size, but what is great is that this set also comes with three very cool Batsuits that line the walls: Firestarter Batman, Space Suit Batman and Reggae Man Batman (which becomes Robin's Red and Green crime fighting outfit).Overall this is a fantastic and creative set with a lot of features and details. There are three minifigures and three special bat suits on a rack you can use if you want a different Batman or Robin. The Kayak, Lunar Rover, Shuttle and Rocket boosters are all individually playable and very imaginative. Highly recommended ;)

Holy Batman! Love it.
This LEGO Batman set is BAT-tastic!This was one of those love-at-first-sight kind of LEGO sets that I knew I had to purchase. And I definitely don't regret it. A nice feature of this LEGO set is the instruction manual... it's designed to read like a book which makes the building process much easier.Pros:~ The Bat-shuttle is actually quite large when completed when you include the rocket boosters~ There's great variety and a wide-range selection of minifigs (only three actual minifigs, but three other batsuits which make it six in total)~ The three batsuits are exclusive to this LEGO set and you won't be able to get them any other way~ The kayak is a new LEGO piece; the black color is also exclusive to this set~ The piece count for this set is rather high when considering the retail price... especially knowing there are several unique and large LEGO pieces~ Though stickers can be a disadvantage (especially for the younger brickers out there), the stickers with this set really help make it stand out~ There's a ton of playability with this set and it will fit nicely along with any other LEGO Batman sets you may already own~ The variety of weapons and 'accessories' in this set are unmatched when compared to other LEGO setsCons:~ Though the exclusivity of the minifigs is nice, it would have been good to have another minifig or two~ The small lunar vehicle fits nicely in the space shuttle, but otherwise is pretty small and doesn't do much for me~ That's it... overall, this is a great LEGO setIn closing, I don't think you can go wrong with this set. I give it a two thumbs up strong 'buy' recommendation and have no doubt it will provide countless hours of enjoyment for both the casual LEGO builder as well as the more committed adult fan of LEGO. The retail price is reasonable, however, if you can find this set for below retail, then you'll find even greater value with this set.If you found my review helpful, please click 'helpful’ below. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask.Happy bricking.

Great build for when you don't have days to set aside
I grabbed this for my son, who, like me, is a huge Lego fan.I'm a space freak too, so this was right in my wheelhouse. I love anything with versions of the space shuttle. We both love the huge builds, 4000+ pieces, but sometimes you just want something smaller, to fill in time without monopolizing days and days or knowing you're going to be stepping around Lego pieces for a week. The size of this is perfect for those "fill in" moments. But it's not so small that it feels like a waste of time and no challenge.Finished product is pretty sturdy, and will hold up to play fairly well compared to some of the other shuttle builds we've done.Got it on sale, which made it even more attractive for us.

Fun, detailed, good for kids into space.
I bought this as a gift or my son, as it was the only reasonably priced space shuttle + etc set I could find ($54 - bought in November before the Christmas price hike). He has never seen the Lego Batman movie, and that didn't matter at all. It is a well put together and fun set. It took almost 2 hours to assemble with my son as an assistant. The best part is of course the shuttle. He's really into rocket boosters and enjoys detaching them from the shuttle as it 'blasts off'. The little boat/canoe thing didn't get played with much, and he wasn't too interested in the other Lego men, as he was unfamiliar with them. But, the shuttle was a huge hit.
