I ordered this trying to repair an original DMG Gameboy. This kit does not include the correct size capacitors for that repair. Still a good kit though!

The voltage ratings (10V to 50V) give you plenty of headroom to work with, and the aluminum construction ensures your projects won't have any "leaky" situations. I've been cooking up everything from simple LED circuits to complex audio filters, and this kit has all the ingredients I need. The radial lead design makes them easy to "serve" on breadboards or PCBs. My only complaint? I keep reaching for the 100uF caps so often, I might need to order seconds! Perfect for both seasoned engineers and those just learning to cook with electrons.

A great selection to replace electrolytic capacitors in my PC amplifier sound system. When visually examining old capacitors they had leaked out the bottom but was difficult to see.

I haven't used any of these, but I used my multi-meter to measure the capacitance of about 30 of the larger ones. NONE of them had a capacitance as large as the marked value: all had less. Some were more than 40% below the marked value. and only one was within 14%. This means that you can't 'hand pick' one that is close to your requirements. Unfortunately they weren't worse, because then I could have chosen a supposedly larger-capacitance one that was closer to my requirements. It's not a big deal (but maybe an additional sign of quality control), but one of the capacitors (see picture) was smashed and had lost material.
