This is a vigorous evergreen climber with tendrils and palmate, mid-green, glossy, leathery leaves. In summer small sprays of green flowers are produced followed by glossy black berries. Needs fertile well drained moist soil in sun or partial shade. It is tender and is ideal for a warm sheltered spot outdoors or in a conservatory or well lit room. Height 10m(30ft)
