The ScooterX Dirt Dog gas has been one of our best selling models since birth. At birth the Dirt Dog came with a 43cc engine, in 2004 it grew to a 49cc engine and added dirt bike bars, in 2006 we added the chrome engine, and now the Dirt Dog comes with larger MX style adjustable bars, stunt pegs, and 10" off road tires! Effective 2012: Gasoline scooters cannot be manufactured with a seat kit included unless they are classified as a motor vehicle (motorcycle). Gas scooters of this type cannot be classified as a motorcycle and therefore a seat kit cannot be offered with the (new scooter).

Very Pleased :)
Was very skeptical about buying this since I read nothing but horrible reviews. I must say that it is not as bad as people claim. The people complaining do not understand simple mechanics. (no offense) It's manufactured in China! It is Horrible Freight quality. If you understand how things go together, i.e. motorcycles, cars, bicycles and have an understanding of how a carburetor works this thing is so much fun. It came with pretty much all the same issues that everyone is complaining about but everything was fixable. It beats dishing out $1200 for an American made one where you're pretty much just paying for the name. I definitely recommend this scooter.

DON'T BUY IT
If you want the short version DON'T BUY THIS and avoid the seller. If you want more detail read on.Ok so I ordered this for my son, he is nine, as a Christmas gift. It arrived at my house on time however when we opened it and started to assemble it I realized what a piece of junk it is. It arrived with the following problems:Fuel lines crimped, could not pass fuel/airBrakes not aligned and rubbed on discs, also calipers mounted on and angle which will cause uneven wearWiring harness holed/tornFender bent, damagedFuel tank could not be mounted because fuel lines were too short and metal bracket would not line upCarburetor plugged and could not get fuel into the engine, this is after I cleared the above mentioned crimped sections of fuel lineThe handle bar stem could not be tightened to remove all free play, there was still about two inches of movement when fully tightened. Remember this thing can go the better part of 30MPH, do you really want that much play in it?This tires arrived without air even though the checklist said they were full. This may not seem like a big deal, just add air right. Wrong! To add air to the rear tire it has to be taken off the scooter and then the rear sprocket removed to allow access to the valve stem. So take off the knurled foot pegs, loosen and remove the axle and spacers, work the tire out from the chain, remove the rear sprocket, then take a screw driver so you can bend the valve stem enough to get your air chuck onto the valve stem. I tried with several different air chucks but none could fit onto the valve stem with the tire mounted on the scooter. After looking at all the problems this scooter had and the build quality (poor) I decided I didn't want to waste my weekends repairing a scooter so I asked to return it. The seller said I would have to pay all shipping costs and lose half of what I paid since it is now considered used, remember I could even get fuel to the engine so it was never started. They did say that they would send me free parts for 30 days and some of my complaints were easily addressed like the fuel tank bracket doesn't have to fit because the fuel tank can be mounted without it. In my mind that is not a safe solution since the fuel tank is plastic and only about 4" from the ground, I doubt it would take much scraping on the ground before it holed and leaked fuel out. Anyway after much back and forth with the seller I filed a complaint with Amazon and they made things right. I did have to pay return shipping but got a full refund.Bottom line is the scooter is poor quality, the seller does no quality check before sending them out, and then are difficult when you complain and want a refund. DO NOT BUY THIS!

Very nice
I got it from .50 Caliber racingNice scooter overall. A couple of problems1.broken front axle.2.kind of confusing putting it together but easy. You have to put the gas tank, handlebars, front wheel, back pegs.3.the description says it is a 25:1 gas oil mix, the owners manual says 32:1 and Super Unleaded4.doesn't come with oilGood things1.With a bad axle it goes slow but I contacted customer service and they sent me a new one, now it goes.... FAST2.the better the gas oil mix the faster3.I would definitely get a 1 gal gas can and some motor oil.4.Always started on first pull.

Great little scooter
Arrived quickly and in perfect shape. Front tire was a little tricky to get on properly but other than that it was really easy to put together; required no adjustments, was ready for use right away. Goes fast, works well on grass and gravel. A lot of fun to ride.
