Zolux Chinchilla/Ferret/Rat Cage Blue 72 x 43 x 107 cm

I assembled this cage alone and it was relatively easy. There was one moment where I thought I might have to call my dad round but I figured it out! We have two rats living in it and it's a great size for them. Easy to clean too.

Came with part missing. Missing part has arrived but cage is nigh on impossible to put together. Parts don't match the pictures in the instructions, flimsy design that doesn't fit together. The doors don't close properly so I can't actually use it as my rats would escape. All in all, pretty poor, frustrating waste of time and money...

A bit of a task to build for only one person but not impossible, some patience needed though. Excellent amount of space as I only have two rats and wanted them to have growing room. Plenty of space in the bottom for toys and the troughs on each floor panel makes great access for food no matter where they are in the cage.

Ok so first of all the instructions are terrible to follow then I needed to widen the holes in each metal bit which sucked the soul right out of me! The screw where to thick!!! Once you've put in your blood sweat and tears and managed to assemble the cage, it is actually quite nice, very spacious, I was worried the bars would be to wide apart as I've got baby rats but it's all fine. Would not recommend buying unassembled!! The doors are ridiculously placed I'm going to have to get someone to come in and modify and add extra doors! But again it looks nice and my rats haven't complained yet

The cage is ok once assembled. Took a little longer than expected and it does have a lot of room inside for my two rats. The downsides I have regarding this product are that some of the open hatches became weak within a week of assembly, - and on two occasions the rats had opened the doors when climbing up the bars in the night. Luckily they didn't escape either time however I now have to keep the hatches closed by securing with bulldog clips, - again not ideal. Wouldn't recommend this product to anybody and the only reason I haven't returned it is that it's already assembled.

This is a very steong robust cage and if i buy another cage it will be one of these. The only issue is that the box it arrived in was shredded to bit, things were falling out of the box as it was brought from the van, some one didnt give a damn about it... luckily all the bits were there as far as i can see.

We have sent this back. The box was damaged. One of the ramps and the tray at the bottom were damaged. It’s really flimsy. It’s not like the pictures. The tray for litter at the bottom is really narrow. The doors in the cage are really small. It would be really difficult to get your hands in to clean and to build the ramps etc. Very very disappointed

My boys (rats) love the space super only thing is difficult to put together doors at flimsy has to zip ties together and awkward to clean end up with cuts and scratches off the cage and my boys now destroyed some of the pegs that hold platforms up some are zip tied in so will need a new cage soon
