Schwarzkopf Live Intense Colour Hair Dye, Permanent Colour & Built-In Vibrancy Serum – 3x U79 Smokey Steel

I can’t very well comment on the colour as my hair is previously dyed and I have grey roots so I wasn’t expecting the colour on the box.However I am pleased with it and have had various nice comments. It isn’t designed for grey so lightens on my grey roots quicker than the rest.I like Live dyes and this isn’t any different to the others. Doesn’t smell too vile, good coverage (you have to be realistic it won’t be the colour on the box unless you have light or previously undyed hair, especially if the colour had reds in it)My resulting colour was somewhere between blue/black and purple/black again I think due to previously coloured and grey hair)It washes off skin fairly easy but wash it off as soon as possible

Really easy to use and a good price. But be warned that it is unlikely your hair will be the colour on the box. My hair is dark brown and now its purple, I like it but may not suit everyone. My hair is much softer and looks a lot better after using this.

Ive just opened the third box as they come in a 3 pack and the bottle 2, which is the coulour is missing. Unfortunately as it takes months to use them all I cant get a refund.

I've only given this 3 stars because it isn't thw colour that is advertised on the box. My hair is now blue/black. Kind of like the colour you'd expect from Cosmic Blue (but can't actually achieve with that particular colour).However I like it still so can't complain too much.

I LOVE this colour. (nothing like one on the box)I bleached my hair followed with this the next day. It went a shade of purple so dark it was black but just really shiny and tinted in certain lights.Over 8 weeks it faded to a super bright royal purple and then continued to fade to a really sexy lavender grey colour.Then I redyed and the process started again but I've never since reached the super bright colour from the first box which I guess is due to not bleaching and build up of colour.I love love love it. But it isn't metallic grey at all. Black-purple-lavender grey over 16 weeks. And by the time you get to the grey stage the metallicy shine has gone.

The Schwarzkopf range is the only hair dye I use nowadays. Really vibrant colours that go the distance. I have long curly hair that has been bleached, dyed n ombre-d repeatedly, so it took a couple boxes to get a nice even colour. Saying that, once on properly, I totally loved the shade, think I'm gonna stay this colour, for a while at least!

There's me thinking this would be a Smokey black like on the box but instead it's more a black/purple but deep purple. It's still lovely and to me I love how it turned out so of course 5 star from me.

Really good colour, loved it, down side washes out easy and on every wash, was having to colour hair way to soon
