There are so many of these stainless steel fire pits for sale. It is hard to know which one to buy. I got the East Oak Camber. I’m glad I did.In looking at the products I learned that one thing that sets them apart is the type of stainless steel that is used. Looking at the reviews of many of the cheaper models, I saw complaints that they rusted out. I didn’t think stainless steel rusted. So I did a little digging. I learned there are different grades of stainless steel. Some are not really meant to be exposed to the weather. I learned that grade 304 is the type of stainless steel I wanted to make sure the fire pit wouldn’t rot.Camber advertises this grade of steel. That’s why I bought it. It also looks a little different than the many solo stove clones. I like how it looks.I used wood pellets to start it. I added logs once the fire got going. It’s very easy. And the results are impressive.The flames are hypnotic. I love seeing the secondary combustion flames shoot from the holes. It throws off a lot of heat too. It really sets the mood for a gathering of friends and family around the fire. The kids made smores. They loved it.Cleanup is pretty easy thanks to the removable ash pan. The fire burns so intensely that not much debris is left. One knock is that some particles fell below the ash pan because it tilted when I removed it. It’s hard to get those out.Still, I am satisfied with my choice. I had never heard of East Oak before buying this, but I am interested in their other products now. This one was thoughtfully designed and made from good quality materials.

I had no idea that these would be so easy to use, and certainly not as efficient use of fuel. One of the attached photos attempts to demonstrate the superior design of the "re-burn" of the gases that typically rise up as "smoke"Impressive. We love this fire pit and we look for reasons to light it up and enjoy the views where it is situated. We use it frequently for cooking shrimp on the barbie, and just a nice place to enjoy a good bourbon.After about 6 months we had an issue with the poker handle spinning on the shaft. This crippled the poker for its job of moving the firewood around where it needed to be. One call (direct to a human) to customer service and a replacement was sent right away at no charge.Initially when the poker started to fail I sought to buy a replacement. I couldn't find anything close to this superior design. Nothing. One call fixed it all.I would not hesitate to buy another.

Best fire pit I have ever purchased, and I have purchased more than a few. We purchased an East Oak 29 inch fire pit 1 year ago and have had a lot of fires and it. I say a lot imagine that times 10. We also leave our fire pit exposed in the elements. With that being said the entire body and top ring were still in perfect condition but we wore down our ash pan to the point where we will need a replacement soon. So I contacted East Oak directly to get ahead of the game before it was unusable to see if I could purchase a new one fully expecting to pay for it if it was available. In response they offered to send me a replacement at no charge and it is on its way. Excellent customer service all I have to say.

I just had a great experience with East Oak customer service. When our fire pit was new, it was nearly smokeless. After several burns, the "gathering ring" on the top started to warp. Sometimes smoke would "puff" under the ring, but it was tolerable. After many more burns, the warp increased just enough for flames to go under the ring, which seemed to accelerate the warp.An email to customer support was very quickly responded to, asking for a photograph of the problem and a screen shot of the invoice from purchase. I responded and the replacement was sent out the next day! From reporting the problem to FedEx dropping at my front door was less than 3 days. Exceptional support for a well made product. I have sent an inquiry about the solid lid vs the canvas cover I have been using. If the solid lid proves beneficial, I will update this review, as well.

I purchased the previous version of this fire pit from East Oak in 2023. I loved it and ordered the cover that could be purchased to place on the top. It allowed it to double as a table when not in use. We got the 21" version and soo n realized it had a tendency to send the occasional burning amber sparking out. It has burned wholes in my outdoor rug and couch-ottoman. The company offered a screen at one point through Walmart but the company does not acknowledge it. I have written the company and they insist that its in the "design phase". That was 6 months ago. I cannot order any of the alternative screens because they all support a round opening. The East Oak opening is oval. Now, they have come out with this other version the Fuoco Fire Pit. It doesn't even have a cover available for it no less a spark screen. It is simply irresponsible for East Oak to come out with products and do not provide the needed accessories.UPDATE: East Oak reached out and have made accomodations to compensate for the limited use around my furniture. They have also repeated their commitment to coming out with a spark screen which I am anxiously awaiting. I have upgraded the rating to a 4 star as I really like the product and own their patio heater and cooler as well.

Works great. We always had to switch seats, depending on which way the wind was blowing. Now we can sit anywhere and enjoy a smoke free fire pit! This size is the biggest - generates a lot of heat....and consumes a lot of wood (well worth it). A footnote: My ash pan had a component that failed (we use the 'stove' a lot - did not run into component issue until we nearly burned thru a full cord of wood). I contacted East Oak, sent a picture and ... voila, received a brand new ash pan 10 days later. No muss, no fuss. Something I REALLY appreciate.
