Panasonic KX-TG7862EB Twin DECT - TAM

Excellent value - my old phone batteries had run out (it was 10 years old) and it worked out cheaper to buy this new panasonic phone than get new rechargeable batteries. I am really pleased with it - looks smart, the range covers from one end of the house to the other and it has a speaker phone option which I wanted for when I work at home - overall, excellent value for money and speedy delivery.

Phone features are good, but phone has awful sound quality. Very muffled, and even using the enhancement features still difficult to understand speech.

It's performing fine. I would have liked a slightly bigger screen though.

so far so good but it is a little early to judge a cordless phone.

Phone clarity and usage is very good. It's product from the U.K so the telephone wire/cord provided inside box is not useful in India. We need to take our local DSL phone cable. Other than that, this is a good product.

The following points were missing in the product description. The phone is made for UK. The provided cable will not fit India specification (everyone will have an extra phone cable at home, so no major issue). The caller ID feature will not work for India Caller ID standards (this is a must have feature, they could have included a caller id converter to delight the customer).

"Panasonic Never Disappoints" would be a good tag line. Stable under Indian power conditions, good battery life. The one minus point is that the plugs are for British sockets and require extra voltage converters. Somewhat uncomfortable. A minor "flaw" (from the Indian point of view !)

Its not up to our Expectation, Its too Noisy.Called the Customer Care they are saying its an imported phone and very poor Customer Care Center.Over all Satisfied with the Product. I could have gone to Croma and bought a Good Indian Product.

Good product as expected only thing was that I had to buy converter for Indian plug as the product is UK compatible.
