Yasco Bunion Toe Straightener One Pair - One Size

I bought these to relieve the pain and decrease the progression of bunions about a year ago. I used to go home and cry even at night because my feet hurt so bad, but these give instant relief. Nothing short of surgery will make bunions go away but you can prevent them from getting worse.They are the first thing I put on when I get home from work and they help immensely. I don't wear them under my shoes but I suppose you could as they aren't bulky. I do wear them with flip flops while running errands because I never want to take them off.They fit perfect from the start and wash well. I bought the second pair so I didn't have to go without while washing.I can't recommend them enough! I tell everybody who ever had concerns about bunions to try them!

I recently had surgery to correct a bunion on my left foot which also caused my great toe to lean into and push my other toes to the left. The doctor said my great toe would drift back a little toward the smaller toes and it did. I purchased this to try and keep my great toe aligned correctly but it did not help at all. It was comfortable to wear but did nothing to pull the toe into the correct position. I ended up purchasing silicone toe spacers which work much better to keep the toe from rubbing against the one next to it.

I have the beginning of a bunion and I have been faithfully wearing this for over a year at night and it has made a difference. I felt the improvement shortly after wearing it. I would not wear this in my shoes since I think it is to thick for my shoes to be comfortable. This is well made. Just recently I found that the strap around the back of the foot was loose so I just tacked it to make it tighter. I also changed what I did and wore thinner socks and now I am buying shoes with roomier toe area and that has definitely helped also. My problem was mainly on my right foot but I decided to wear it on both feet anyways to prevent any future problems in the other foot. I would recommend this product.

I have a small foot and maybe that is why I didn't get much help from this product, but the only result I had was my toes started getting cold as if my circulation was being cut off. I tried it for a week and found no ounce of improvement. My advice is put your money into something worth it and don't look for a good "cheap" deal!

I wear a size 6 1/2 woman's shoe. As other reviewers mentioned, this tends to bunch between the toes if worn in shoes. And the padded area on the outside makes it a little tight in some (very box-shaped) shoes. But it does hold the toe in place, works well with something as roomy as Crocs, and visibly straightens the toe out if worn overnight.

The toe straightener worked great on my right foot that had the worst bunion. It is important not NOT to try to use it all day long at first but slowly get your foot adjusted to it. Depending on your toe length and size it may slide around a bit under your sock all day. The opening on the big toe can be stitched a little smaller (I am considering doing this). In combination with bunion exercises (see Youtube) and stretches, these toe straighteners, and the gel toe spreaders [Pedifix Gel Smart Visco-gel Toe Spreaders - #1126 - Medium (4 Pack)] (I use them under my sock with these toe straighteners), I have had really good results. My right foot was quite bad and after 8 weeks I can now spread my big toe back into the proper position and hold it there - Progress!I have not tried it yet on a consistent basis with my left toe (which is not a painful bunion yet but headed there), for some reason it slips more down my left big toe (bunches) and I have not bought the small gel spreaders. FYI: I bought two packs so I can keep a pair clean and washing and drying the other pair. And yes, you can make more progress using them day and night.

This Yasco toe straightener has solved my problem of how to straighten the big toe on my right foot all day instead of just a once-a-day treatment. Two toe straighteners are in the package. Socks fit right over them. There's a little padding on the side of the bunion too. At night for stronger treatment, I found the Neo G Correction System on the toe just wonderful. It is marked on the box "mild" which is just right.Best part is neither of these products stops the circulation or causes pain. This Yasco Bunion Straightener has started to stretch out a little but cheap to replace. Stays secure on foot unlike plastic ones.Great products by smart inventors and companies!! Wish I'd never worn tight shoes or walked all day in heels!

I love this product! I have been taping my bunion joint toe in a similar fashion and was very glad to see this product. My joint is considered severe so the gel toe separators were not enough (had to use 2 together) and they wouldn't stay put through vigorous excerise. This brace stays put though weight training, high intensity training and running. I haven't notice any bunching that others mentioned and don't really see the purpose of the heel strap but the ingenious design of elastic pulls my toe enough into the right position so my joint doesn't hurt so much. I know surgery is the only answer to fix my joint at this point but that is 2 years away and this brace should make that time less painful!
