The best thing about Halo Laundry, is that it is antifungal. This means it gets rid of musty smells and makes clothes more resistant to developing it. I had a huge problem in my House and it is the only product that has worked. Washes brilliantly and lifts stains better than most anti stain products I have ever used ( I have never managed to lift an6 stain wit( Vanish ever- baffles me when people say it works for them as it never lifts tomato-ink-grease-grass). I don’t even think about the price anymore as it is classes better than any other product in the market and you save money from not buying anti-stain and anti-bacterial products. Have been washing with it for two years now and it has never irritated my sensitive skin or my kids’.

Great for sports clothes and items that become a bit musty. Use this after been away for a few days and I’ve not been able to wash my sports clothes after the gym. Makes everything smell great and ensures that nothing smelly is left on my clothes - due to the antibacterial that normal washing powder do not have. Only downside is it’s expensive hence the 4 stars and not 5.

Works great with that sweaty gym clothes smell

Before i purchased this someone made a comment to me about the smell of my armpits during a boxing sessions. I explained the smell was from my dry fit shirt, which not matter how much i washed it i just couldn't get rid of the smell and i didn't fancy binning it and buying another for £40+. I tried soaking, handing the works but just couldn't shift the smell. I googled around found this product mentioned on a running forum so i tracked it down here and gave it a go. All my sports gear smell brand new now. The first time i used it i used a cup full to soak my most problematic sports tops for an hour before washing, then used another cup full to wash them with at a low temperature. When the clothes came out i gave them a sniff and they smelled great but thats the same with any washing liquid or powder. The real test was when dry then wearing to box in. I started to sweat and get hot but my clothes didn't smell. After i finished training i took my top off and sniffed the armpits and the smell that had haunted me in the past was gone. Great product i just wish it came in a bigger size. I'll recommend ordering 2 at a time.

I love this sports wash. I go to the gym 5 days a week and my kit had started to develop a funky smell that washing could not eradicate. My kit would smell fine until I started to sweat, and then it would stink! White vinegar worked to a certain extent but it was messy and smelly to use, so I looked for something better. Halo sports wash is it. It smells pleasant and behaves just like normal washing liquid. I have been using it for a few months now, and my kit smells as good as new. In fact, I can tell when I put on something that hasn't been washed in Halo, as after a few minutes workout it starts to whiff. I use it on my kit, my boyfriend's kit, and anything we want to wash at a low temperature but be sure is really clean. We have used it on bed linen, socks and tea towels. It seems like a lot to pay for such a small bottle, but you only need a capful and one bottle has lasted us for months. I'll definitely be buying this again when it runs out.

Ok but very expensive for what it is

There are a few variables which can effect the effectiveness of this product, such as temperature, wash cycle, type of clothing, amount of clothing in the drum etcIf, like me, you are turning to this product because your sportswear starts to kick up when doing sweaty exercise, then this worked for me.Put in half the load. I put 2 sports tshirts, 2 pullovers, 2 cycling shorts and 2 pairs of rugby socks (it's cold and they work!).I then stick the programme to 2 hour cycle with a pre wash as well. The sports clothing settings on most washing machines only run for about 45 minutes. This doesn't give the clothing a good enough wash I've found. I go for a normal mixed/easy care setting at 30 degrees THEN I also add a pre wash for good measure. This take my wash from 47 minutes to 1 hour 57 minutes.I then put 1 cap full in the pre wash and 1 ½ or 2 caps in the normal detergent tray.Don't do softener! This basically puts a soft film over the threads of the material and seals the old smell in and stops it from absorbing the sweat from your body.Have a go, see what you think
