Spigen Air Skin iPhone X Case with Semi-Transparent Lightweight Material for Apple iPhone X (2017) - Black

Initially, I wanted another Spigen case that wasn’t shipping until about a week later. I saw this one, and decided to give it a chance.The fit is very nice. It is incredibly light weight, and fits the iPhone X perfectly. It took a little push to get the phone into the case, but now that it’s on, it’s like it’s not even there.This case will not likely help if I drop the phone, however, I really only wanted protection from scratches and other minor wear and tear. It looks like a good fit for that.

This case was fantastic at first, it was just what I wanted: a very minimal & thin case that would protect my phone from scratches. For the first few months it was exactly that.However after a few months it started “stretching” allowing gaps to form between the case and phone. Dust and debris gets into these gaps and rubs between the case and phone, which has scratched up the stainless steel banding around the edge of the phone.I initially liked this case so much (and was optimistic that it might be an anomaly) so I bought another. Sure enough the same thing happened with the second one as well. Such a disappointment.

As advertised. I normally prefer the feel of no case on my phones, but purchased this minimalist case due to the glass backing on the iPhone X. Hardly adds any bulk to the phone. Of course, it doesn't add nearly as much protection as other bulky cases, but at least it's a buffer between the surface and the actual device. Careful when handling the case during installation, I accidentally broke the thin case material between the volume up and down buttons, but I don't blame the manufacturer. With a thin case like this, just have to be careful when handling while it's not on the device. Would purchase again.

Some thoughts in no particular order: - extremely thin profile. it adds almost nothing to the size of the phone - solid material, feels well made, fits well - very slippery surface. it doesn't have that "rubbery/grippy" feel that some cases haveOverall, I do like it ... especially for the price. I (personally) prefer slightly more grippy material though. Definitely worth checking out for yourself though!

For the price point this case is amazingly crafted and the fit and feel is top notch. The mat black case is just see through enough to still see the Apple and the texture of the case is just right for grip. Wouldn’t buy for any type of ruggedness but for style and function, 5 Stars !!!

Minimalist coverage. I was looking for a replacement for the Caudabe Veil i has on my 6s. For some reason, Caudabe doesn't sell their Veit Xt on Amazon, so i am v very happy to have found this case. Its somewhat transparent, its so thin.Does not add any bulk to the phone. Wouldn't recommend if you're 'drop prone.'

The quality is what you expect with Spigen. For the price you can’t beat it. My complaint though is that this case does NOT have a lip around the screen protecting it from setting the phone face down. Same goes with the camera lens on the back, it’s flush with the case. This is a super minimalistic case though, so no bulk is added.

Great thin case. Make sure you install it carefully. I've used cases like this on other phones and broke them because of careless installation. I recommend to slide in the side with the volume buttons first, and when squeezing the other side in, do the top right corner first (when viewing the phone from the front).Will not provide much drop protection, but will protect against scratches and add a little bit of grip. Definitely not a case if you are prone to dropping your phone.

I love these inexpensive and high quality cases. I first tried one after adopting the 'no case' method of better protecting my phone. The thinking is that if your very expensive phone is wrapped up in a tough case you tend not to worry about it so much and, in turn, take less care of it. This inevitably results in you dropping you phone and the still vulnerable screens get broken. With no case you tend to treat your phone with far more care and respect, however there is always the potential for your phone to get scratch by keys/coins in your pocket, when put your phone down in tables, in your car or when carried in your bag. So this very thin case works perfectly for me. It retains the aesthetic of the phone while still providing a high level of scratch protection. Plus it is very easy to remove if you want to show off your new phone in all it's naked glory :0)

Case looks and feels awesome honestly you couldn’t ask for better. Then comes what you see when you take it off and your stainless steel sides are scratched so badly. I’ve had my phone replaced because it was faulty but definitely won’t be using this on my new one it’s supposed to be scratch protection not scratch it itself

If you're looking for ultra thin (you can actually see through it) then look no further. The case gives only placing down protection really but it does have a lip on the front and around the camera so they're protected when you've put your phone down on the side. The case has a slight bumpy texture so it feels good in the hand and gives a little bit of grip.

This case is perfect for those who don't want chunky bulky cases. I always resisted to buying a phone case because I much prefer the look of smartphones without one, but felt I needed one for the iPhone X as it's so expensive. This case fits perfectly and maintains the classy simple look of the iPhone. It's got a nice matte texture and seems high quality. It looks exactly like the photos provided. I've not yet dropped my phone so I'm not sure how protective it will be, but it's definitely scratch resistant. Love it.

Beautifully thin case from Spigen. I hardly notice any extra bulk added to my iPhone X. I would say that it would probably protect from small drops but it's not going to save your phone from a 5 or 6 foot drop. It's more for protecting the back against scratches and helps with grip if you find the glass back slippery

This case is great if you want to protect your (very expensive) iPhone X from scratches and give it a bit of extra grip (that glass is really slippery!) but that’s about it.Really thin and looks good giving the phone a nice matte look but stretches after time needing a replacement (but it’s so cheap it wasn’t to much of an issue). The fit to start with is spot on.Do not expect this to protect your phone from a fall! Would definitely recommend getting a screen protector alongside it

Really nice case, feels great to hold, super slim and all ports very precisely cut.Not as transparent as it looks in the pictures but the Apple logo is still visible.Also works really well with the spigen tempered glass.Would highly recommend!

Surprisingly good, for the price. Has a nice smoky black translucent back to the case, which is not a fingerprint magnet and there is no chance of scratching this material either, which can be a problem for certain case materials. Zero branding on the case as well (not even Spigen on it) gives it a totally minimalist look. Probably won't offer drop protection but that is not what I am going for with this case anyway. If I had to give a negative it would be me expecting the back to be more translucent, so as to show off the Apple logo - but that is definitely a mild complain.

Smart looking, very lightweight and perfect fitting case.It will stop you phone from scratches but nothing else.Don’t expect edge protection and I doubt it will resist dropping your phone from a table..

Had the case for a week dropped my phone once and the case instantly broke, not very durable. But protects the phone and is lightweight

Bought this case months ago and I don’t think I’ve had my phone without it for very long. It’s lightweight, thin and provides a matte texture so I personally have a better grip without leaving fingerprints on the back and sides of my device.However, I’ve belatedly realised that the case isn’t a perfect snug fit. When the top or bottom of my device is pushed right against the case, I notice there’s space that can be filled at the opposite end.

Happy with this purchase, wanted a simple case that didn't add bulk and this case does just that. Has slightly discoloured but that't to be excpected when the case is an off white.

Amazing case, bought for my husband. Very thin almost no feeling case on your iPhone. The finish of this case is great, leaves no messy finger print marks. High quality and fit to his iPhone X perfectly.Not sure how well it will protect against a fall/drop, an hopefully never have too.Ordered on Sunday arrived the next day

If you put the phone in this case,don’t think to remove it,as it will crack.Indeed thin,nice,lightweight,But it’s a one time use only.
