This charger does seem to work ok. I can't complain about the charge. What I can complain about is the fact that this is branded as a battery "case" and this case offers no protection for your screen. There is almost no lip in the front to prevent your screen from cracking if you drop your phone on say asphalt or loose gravel. So, if you're in a super safe padded/carpeted environment, you should be fine. If you want to use this regularly while you're out and about, be extremely careful because you will likely have big issues if you drop your Note 8 face first. On top of that, the weight that this battery case adds will add to the impact of the fall. Not a fan of this design.Edit: My review remains unchanged but I am giving back a star for excellent customer service. The seller contacted me and states they will try to make the design better. I will gladly buy the redesigned version when more protection is offered for the screen.

This case does a wonderful job of providing a extra battery source as stated. I've used it to get me out of binds on multiple occasions and the battery is large enough to provide a charge and a half of extra battery as stated HOWEVER it does not provide any drop protection. The glass on this screen is susceptible to cracking quite easily, even in conjunction with a screen protector. This case provides an extremely low amount of impact protection and should you drop your phone and it lands on its side you have a high chance of breaking your screen. It is $400 to replace a screen on a Note 8... I am usually very good with my phone and the two times I've dropped it from low distances and landing at awkward angle resulted in two large bezel cracks and hairline cracks in the screen. I would not recommend this case for anyone who ever drops their phones. Ever.

The case is as described. Works perfect and helps keep the phone charged while out and about. We noticed it charged 1% per minute. It does adds quite a bit of bulk, but that also helps protect the phone. It is a little difficult to use the finger print scanner to unlock the phone, but if you use a password or nothing, you are good to go. The case feels nice and smooth in my hands. My husband was very excited to receive this and asked if it was going on his phone, so I'll be fighting him for this great case, it seems. Be advised I received my battery case in typical speedy Amazon delevry time. I am generally satisfied with it as I can now use my phone all day in my job without recharging. The design allows easy access to the S Pin, and the changing port. The earphone port has a relief area that allows most all earphones to plug in without interference. All external factory buttons operate smoothly with the same touch as the phone. The case has a nice finish with a little more traction than the phone which helps preventing it from slipping out of your hand. I have yet to test it for impact protection. My only objection is the weight which is a bit heavy, but no more than any other battery case.

So far this case is holding up to my expectations.It fits the phone perfectly and the performance is beyond my imagination.Enough juice for about 1.6 times recharge,basically doubles the battery life.The case and phone battery can be charged simultaneously,it can transfer the file without removing the case.The only thing to blame is that it's a little bulky but i can handle it.All in all,it's a great buy for the price.

Case limits the phones functionality, it cannot be plugged into a computer or the samsung dex, also cannot be charged wirelessly. The product appears neat, not too bulky, fits in the hand well and has excellent capacity. But the cons outweigh the prosWould give 5 stars if you could plug phone into PC and access photos, or plug into tv and watch movies or plug into samsung DeX and us as a desktop

I Wanted to like this but when fully charged it only added about 30% to my Note 8.It was quite bulky and heavy for such a limited increase in battery power.Returned.

First time ever buying one ,have to say I absolutely love it, yes a bit heavy ,a lil bulky,but I have big hands , love the snug fit for my note 8
