Durablow Fireplace Blower Fan HS-30000223 + IR Heating Element HS-30000216 Replacement for Heat Surge, Real Flame Twinstar Electric Fireplace

This product saved us over $100 compared to replacing the Heating Assembly and Blower Fan through Dimplex. We have a Dimplex Celeste Air Heater Model TDS7599TC and it was turning off heat after a few minutes of running, but the blower stayed on. Heating element went bad. The installation was a bit difficult because this product did not have the same wiring locations as the old unit. However, with a little ingenuity and working backwards from the Thermostat we were able to get the wiring correct and it works brilliantly. One blue wire goes to the thermostat, the other to the heating element top side plug. White matched with the white. Black wire from fan motor top goes to the thermostat and the bottom fan black wire goes to the bottom of heating element side. Works great! Only have had it for 24 hours, so not sure on durability, but did purchase the 3 year warranty for less than $3.00. Thank you for making such a great universal product that will work with most Electric Air Heaters or Fireplaces.

I purchased the roll and glow fireplace from HSN. Love it, it really keeps my living room warm and I do not have to run the base board heater, which saved me over $100 heating cost per month. However, I did not purchase the filter for the Roll and Glow and too much dust got into the heating element and caused it to go out. I thought that I was going to have to purchase a whole new unit. But just by chance I thought that I would check Amazon to see if a replacement fan blower and heating element could be purchased. I purchased the replacement part. My brother and I removed the old unit and put in the new one and we are up and going. Works wonderfully. So happy with this product! Also, it was not too difficult to install, I did not see any directions in the package, but everything just plugs in to the electronic panel on the fireplace. We just mapped which wire went where, because the stock element was the exact same as the replacement, unplugged the old (which was not that easy, take your time with it) and plugged in the new element which was a breeze. Thank you!

We have had electric fireplace for years no brand or numbers on it, the fan worked but would not heat I just matched the size like what we had the wiring was different than ours, though. We found someone to wire it for us, we r good to go I gave it 4 stars felt it should have had a wire diagram. Saved us from buying a new fireplace though 5 stars, price is good too.

My electric fireplace started making alot of noise after a year of use. I as really afraid I was going to have to replace the entire insert. I had my brother (who is very mechanically inclined) to check it out and he tried various things and could not get the noise to go away. That is when I looked for the new blower.... WOW I was surprised to find this price and free shipping. After installed, the noise is back to a minimum. So far it is working great! I have been running the fireplace for the last 4 months with this blower. This purchase was a second blower, I wanted to have a spare on hand in case the noise happened again, the price is right and you just never know when things will or won't be available. I love my fireplace and want to keep it running as long as I can. Thank you Durablow and Amazon for making this product available at a reasonable price.

I couldn’t find the extra one to fit so I tried this on. Made it work but it isn’t balanced as good as the old broken one so it makes more noise

The fan assembly didn't work. Unfortunately. I wasn't able to install it within the 30 day return window, so I must take responsibility for that. I bought another and it worked fine!

I have a ventless gas wall heater that needed a little circulation. This unit is so quiet and efficient. I bought an 80 degree thermal switch to allow it to turn on when warm and off when no heat is produced. The unit has a thermostat so everything is automatic. Our house is 115 years old and made of adobe and brick with plaster. The furnace does really well until it gets to be 10 degrees or below outside and the extra heat from this unit is great. Also, I feel better having the backup in case I am away and the electricity goes out. Of course, the little fan won't blow but the pipes won't freeze. The price was great and was shipped well packed. It can be attached with sheet metal screws easily and with the automatic thermostat it is self maintaining.

My last blower went out and I thought I was going to have to throw away my electric fireplace. I had a heat surge Amish wood built electric fireplace and we loved it. The blower started making terrible noises, thumping loudly. I knew the blower went and when I tried to get the part replaced through Heat surge they first told me they wouldn't sell me any parts, then told me $90!! I found this on amazon and now my electric fireplace is working perfectly. My kids get up in the morning and turn it on, we run it most of the day as we live in an older house with no insulation. Installation instructions didn't exist, and getting the fireplace apart took some time but taking off the old one and replacing the new was self explanatory and easy.
