iPhone 6S Case, Terrapin [Extra Slim Fit] Hybrid Rubberized Protective Hard Case for iPhone 6 / 6S (Solid Grey)

I am on my second exact same case for my Iphone6. The first one lasted 9 months before I had to replace it due to it cracking and having one jagged corner stick up, the second one I have been using for 4 months. Why did I purchase a second case? I like the price point and the features, namely:Buttons are fully exposed so I am not trying to push them through the case.Low profile so it does not add bulk to the dimensions of the phone.Backing is thick enough so that the camera lens does not touch the surface when I set it down.Textured surface does not stick to my leather wallet when I carry the phone in my pocket, so I can pull it out without pulling my wallet too.Things that were not ideal for me:Textured surface started wearing off after about 4 months in my pocket, starting with the corners.The top of the phone is not protected, so the phone body was scratched at the top side when dropped.Corners started cracking after about 6 months of use. They got progressively worse and parts starting breaking off after 8 months, and by month 9 it had a corner that caught my pocket and was bent outwards, forcing me to get a new case.Overall, the price was reasonable to replace it when it wears out. It has survived drops and protected my phone (I have a glass screen protector, but I would say dropping it glass down the case would not offer much protection). The gray matches nicely with the gray body of my iPhone. I plan to keep getting this case so long as I am using this phone.

I really like this case. It is super thin, so it doesn't add much of any bulk. It has a slightly rubberized back which is actually really great. It feels nice in your hand and makes your phone easier to hang onto.The only thing to take note on is that this case really provides the absolute least amount of protection for your device. It does have a small lip on the front so if you put your phone down screen down, the glass isn't sitting on the table, and it is thick enough to even out the lens on the rear camera. But if you have a tendency to drop your device, there will be many instances where this particular case isn't going to protect much. If it goes down with any angle to it, you are going to pick up a ding because the top and bottom are open on the case.But if you were like me and really just wanted a case that would prevent the back of the unit from getting scratched up from normal wear and tear, then this is the case for you. It looks nice, it feels nice in your hand, and it doesn't add any bulk.

Five stars for a perfect fit. Soft feel but still very sturdy. The material is somewhere between a hard plastic case and a soft rubber one. This case has just the right amount of grip but also still allows you to slide your phone in and out of your pocket easily. I love how the buttons and ports are easily accessible and not interfered with. One might find that this case will not protect the screen if you place your phone screen side down on a flat surface. This is because 1. The case is magnificently thin, and 2. The iPhone 6 has beautifully curved screen edges so the glass is a tiny bit raised. This does not bother me and I'm giving it five stars because the case performs as advertised. Great phone case for the minimalist who seeks functionality. If you as the consumer wanted something that protects from drops and other mishaps, you probably wouldn't be looking for a case like this one anyway. To me, that's the trade off. If you want sleek and minimal(like this case), you lose some degree of protection. If you want total protection(obviously not this case), you get bulky and obtrusive.

Three stars for an alright case. At a $7 price point you can't ask for too much. It is after all a minimal case for the phone.Two gripes; 1) the sides of the case have the distinctive manufacturing cutoff edge that feels cheap and catches on your hand. 2) the screen lip IS NOT raised enough to lift the phone off the surface if you place screen down. This is quite the BEWARE feature.Otherwise, it does its job and has a medium soft rubber texture that feels snug in the hand. This is a decent slim case and for the price I can't complain. However I have a new phone and I don't have another case yet so when using this recently I dropped my phone for the first time and the case actually came off after one hit. This doesn't really help with impact and I understand that but I would expect it to at least help with scratches. Now my new phone has a few scraps and I'm shopping for something a little tougher. Great look and feel though, its all in what you plan to do with it.

Honestly, I hate phone cases. The only reason I bought one was to keep my light, slippery iPhone 6 from falling out of my hands. It has a matte finish on it that helps some with that.After about a week the finish started coming off, and the case has a couple of cracks in it, despite never dropping it.It is super thin and low profile, which is why I bought it.

Bare minimum case basically. No bulk. Ordered this one because my preferred choice was on back-order and I needed something in the mean time. It has been serving it's purpose. Was torn between the burgundy and the grey. Ended up getting the grey. It's simple, thin and cute for the short-term.

Pro:- Low profile- Protects against minor knocks- Fits wellCon:- Life expectancy 4-6 months if removing phone from case about once a week. Mine developed cracks around the camera hole.Meh:- Price. For the short life span I'd like to see this priced at around $5.
