I have a few pairs of the Black glasses, no problem with them. I bought a pair of the Gunmetal just to switch things up, here’s what I noticed. While the black open and close smoothly, this version is more erratic, and doesn’t have the same feel. Minor/insignificant, but noticeable. The real problem is what you can see in the picture, the lens chips in multiple places right along the frame. We were in Mexico on vacation and I had them on in the morning. When you first go outside from your 70-degree room to 90-degree humidity, glasses fog up and likely contract some. When this happened, several areas chipped, and chipped badly. TBH I never would have guessed any type of metal would do this over a few degrees, but that’s the only explanation. I also had a pair of these in black (which deserve 5 stars) and had no problem.
