My husband started welding school and wasn’t able to see out of the helmet provided by his school so he purchased this. He can now see! He loves this welding helmet.

This was the best thing for improving my welding. Has a nice clear view of weld puddle.

Although I returned this helmet, I loved it. I upgraded to the Infinity model. Pretty much they are the same except for the larger lens on the Infinity. You can see great through the lens when not welding making constant raising/lowering the helmet a thing of the past. Many folks rate the Lincoln helmet as the best, but I am a die-hard Miller fan and I love the digital lens with auto on-off, half lens shades (i.e.,10.5) etc. Some don't like the head band; I am a mechanic and never weld a full 8 hr. day like dedicated welders so if it becomes uncomfortable over time, I wouldn't know but so far it has been very comfortable to me. This helmet is a far cry from what I started with many years ago, I had another auto-darkening helmet that finally died and ended up with this one. I am happy with the purchase and would buy again.
