Q: I have an old AeroGarden model 100705. Will this kit work for me?

Although our new Seed Pods do have a slightly different shape, they will work in any AeroGarden model, new or old. Older models of AeroGardens came with bars installed on the inside of the water bowl. Please remove the support bars to accommodate the seed pods. They are not necessary for the garden’s operation. Push the seed pods firmly into the bowl. The Seed Pods on the sides of the Garden might appear to be slanted, this is not a problem. The flexible plastic grow basket that holds the grow sponge will bend to fit the shape of the bowl. Please reach out to our Customer Service Team on the Aerogarden website with any further questions or concerns.

Q: Is the Aerogarden plant food organic?

I copied this from the Aerogarden website under the FAQ's: Are Aerogarden seeds and nutrients organic? "Our seeds are sourced from large and small vendors from around the world. Q: Has anyone grown cilantro?

I had great success from my single attempt. I used seeds I had harvested in the summer from my outdoor plants. I placed two or three of the seeds in the empty pod that came with the AeroGarden I received for Christmas. it took longer to germinate than most of the herbs that came with the garden herb kit. However, once established, it kept pace with the other herbs and I have been harvesting the Cilantro in small batches periodically. If I decide to harvest it all at once, I will have enough for a good size batch of salsa for canning. I am not sure why I have had such good luck while others have been disappointed with their cilantro attempts.
