Holds enough supplies for up to three days. Cool side includes refreezable ice pack (stays cold 4-6 hours) and temperature strip and holds up to four bottles of insulin; room temperature side carries meter, and other supplies.

Vastly inferior to previous version
This bag is significantly different from the previous Medport organizer (which I loved for years).First the good; the insulin compartment is a bit bigger so a pen would fit better (probably only one though. I don't use them myself so I'm kinda guessing here).Next the odd: there is a nice pocket on the outside of the insulin compartment that has no zipper or closure. I see no apparent purpose for it. It doesn't even fit the blood sugar diary. Now the not so good (dare I say bad?)-No provisions for storing a lancing device-The 'official' meter location shown in the picture requires you to affix an adhesive Velcro patch to the back of your meter. Not cool. The previous product had a nice little pocket that a meter could be contained in. It wasn't perfect, but I didn't need to stick anything to my meter either...-The previous bag had a large clear plastic zippered compartment for storing syringes. I could hold 10 easily along with alcohol wipes (convenient since that's how many are packaged in a bag from BD, eh?). This bag has a much much smaller mesh compartment that is closed with Velcro. You might be able to get the 4 that they show in the picture in there and get it closed. That is just 1 day of supplies for most of us (less if you ever need a correction bolus between meals). I am also extremely hesitant about its durability with syringe tips poking through the mesh.-The previous bag also had a solid fabric zippered compartment to store lancets, Kleenex, extra meter batteries, and (vitally) glucose tabs or lifesavers. This bag has an un-closable flap to store a blood sugar diary (really? my meter records that stuff...). There is also a small mesh pocket (no closure) by the meter location that is pictured storing about 4 lancets.-The advertised sharps container was missing (though the divider for it in the main compartment is firmly in place with its Velcro!)I bought this bag since I needed one that I could put on my belt for an upcoming trip to Paris. Now I'm not sure if this one is any better than the falling apart bag that I have. It could at least hold a full day's worth of supplies no matter what the day brought me.

Diabetes Supply Carrying Case
This is the third Medport Daily Organizer I have purchased and will continue to purchse them. I use them until I wear them out, usually after two years of daily, rugged use. They go with me to work, up in the mountains on camping and hunting trips, across the country on airlines and everywhere I go daily They are rugged and reliable. Other products I have tried were falling apart within days, regardless of the promises and testimonials. I can carry enough syringes for 3 -4 days and plenty of insulin. The only change I would recomend is in the cold pack they supply. I stumbled onto a prduct called - Techni Ice - and love it. It is available through Amazon. While there are some pros and cons in the Techni Ice reviews, I find it to be the best product in terms of use and durability. It lasts and doesn't rupture as other products have. So, The Medport Organizer is an A+++ item and the Techi Ice is what I have now used for four years. Love them both!! It is a good size to carry with me anywhere that I go
I rated the bag four stars because it is exactly what I needed. However, it had a defective zipper on the cold side. Medport is in the process of sending me a new Organizer. I carry two insulin pens, syringes, lancets and lancet pen, glucose strips and alcohol pads, without any problems. There is still room for more supplies. It is a good size to carry with me anywhere that I go.

Best organizer I've found
Good size to hold everything you need, with a good bit of flex able storage pockets. My only complaint would be a lack of any sort of fastener inside to hold the pens, although they do fit (oddly it does have fasteners to hold vials). Sturdy construction and comes with a small I've pack if you choose to use it. I'm able to hold 2 pens, half dozen pen tips, meter, bottle of strips, lancing pen & dozens of lancing needles plus a pair of earbuds (headphones) too

Size is fine. I ended up using to hold all my diabetic meds, both injectables and oral. I also had room for hearing aids and hearing aid supplies. The workmanship/fit is not consistently satisfactory. The elastic, to hold items in net pouches, seems like it will stretch out very soon. I anticipate that things will start to fall out easily.I find that the size being bigger helps me remember to bring with me all the time. A smaller size , for me, would me it would be easier to overlook and forget to take with me.

good travel bag
Overall I thought the bag was good, it seems to be made well. I did not see the space for vials of insulin in the pictures, with little elastic loops, I didn't need this as pens are used instead if syringes. There is a separate zippered compartment that is not shown. I think I can fit a couple of pens in that area of the bag for traveling though. Otherwise, that area of the bag is not used.

Is just OK
I like the pack but it could be so much better. One of the zippers hangs up on the corner because of how it's stiched, if you freeze the ice pack the insulin is too cold but if you only put it in the fridge it doesn't stay cold for long because the insulin compartment is not very insulated. I snapped off the locking tabs on the sharps container so that nobody would put the lid on so that it wouldn't come off & have to be thrown away. I do like the style of the bag very much I just wish it were better insulated & sewn better. I'm still glad I bought it!!

Great travel case ~ Useable as a case for Type 2 supplies
I have to use the Accu-Chek Aviva testing system for insurance coverage. The case that came the Aviva kit is too small, poorly designed for its purpose, and cheaply made. I bought this Medport case hoping it would be a good replacement with improved utility, even though it's made for type 1 supplies, and I'm type 2. It works great. It's well made, with compartments that easily accomodate my larger-size meter, test strips container, lancet device, lancet cartridges, alcohol wipes, cotton balls, and glucose log. It holds enough supplies for a couple of weeks. It's a good size; not too big, but big enough.I am 100% happy with this purchase.
