Primigi Azalea-E Mary Jane (Toddler/Little Kid)

Just got these in the mail, and they seem to be very nicely made (I ordered the blue patent). They seem to run at least 1/2 size large, so they don't quite fit yet but my daughter insisted on wearing them anyway! They seem to be made for more narrow feet, which is perfect for us. Hopefully they will last several months once she fits into them properly. The reason for giving them 4 stars-- these have SYNTHETIC patent uppers, not leather like the description implies. However, the linings are leather so the shoes should breathe very well. Also, these have a bit more support than I usually like in a children's shoe (I am a big believer that barefoot is best for developing feet, and I try to find shoes that have flexible soles, soft leather, and minimal support for everyday wear-- see kai run is one of my favorite brands right now). Anyway, I found these for a steal, and this brand has a great reputation. I hope the patent uppers will hold up to my daughter's rough and tumble play. The most important thing is that my 2 1/2 year old seems to love them-- as long as she is happy and will actually wear them (a tall order these days) I feel they are worth the price.

My daughter is currently in 3rd grade and this is the only shoe she has worn for years. We have had the same model in red, rasberry, silver, bronze, navy and now black. She wears them to public school with dresses or jeans, on the playground and we even fight before basketball practice because she says she doesn't need sneakers. They are very flexible and soft. I don't know if my daughter's feet sweat more than others' but the insides of her shoes always look well worn. The leather footbed liner usually comes out after a couple months and is too crinkled up to put back in... but this doesn't seem to bother her one bit. These shoes run a little wider than average so if you need a wide in Stride Rite these will fit you in a regular size. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because I wish the foot liner would hold up better. Did I mention that she wears these seven days a week!?!

I first bought these shoes when my daughter was 2 or 3 and she is 7 now. I loved them so much I bought a stack in several sizes and she's worn no other dress shoe since she was 3 years old. When she outgrew a pair, I handed those down and pulled out a new pair. They are beautiful, comfortable and durable. If you have younger kids, you will get such good use out of them, it's worth spending the money. She's worn the red shoes so long, these "ruby slippers" have become her trade mark.

I love these shoes great quality really hold up thought they were worth the price bought at least 4 pairs my grand-daughter loves them so they must be comfortable my only question and disappointment is why when i went up one size why did the price from average of 50.00$ to 80.00 that is a huge jump and expensive for a size bigger really was disappointed would like to contact sellar

We get these shoes every year in a bigger size. They fit well, are made well, and what's not to like about red patent leather? They run a bit differently from the standard European sizing standards in that your child will take, say, a 34 in these while still being a 33 in other European shoes (Naturino). So in that regard, proceed with caution.

My 8 year old has been wearing this brand of shoes since she was 4. She will rarely wear anything but these shoes. They fit her great, are durable, comfortable and most importantly she loves them. We used to buy them at Nordstrom but they stopped carrying them so I guess we will be buying them from Amazon now on.

These were a bit more expensive than I usually spend on the kids school shoes on Amazon. But seeing the quality and orthopaedic type of innersole, positive reviews, and compared to the usual brands available here in Australia (at exorbitant prices), I thought I'd spend the extra for my little girl. She loves them, they are supremely comfortable.

My daughter is about to start school and is limited to uniform shoes. She loves these, as they are a bit fancier and the sole offers good support for playing.
