Went to pull some footage from the dashcam today only to find the most recent file was from November (3 months ago).It appeared to be fully functional with no indication it was not saving properly.

I emailed Customer support because of a software setting and was very happy to get a quick response. After a couple emails back and forward my issues were solved. I did not want to have to send the camera back, so I very much appreciated them helping with my questions and issue. It was just a software setting.The camera works great. It does exactly what I need. - Loop record video when driving. Easy to setup and to use. It powers up / down automatically with the car, so once setup and connected nothing needs to be done. If you want to watch a recording you can do that on the camera or pull the memory card out and watch it on the Computer. The field of view angle is wide enough and I can make out license plates of passing cars on the video. So it fits its purpose.

I was an auto adjuster for several years so I know how important it is to have some kind of back up when there's no witnesses other than you and the other driver in a 4 stop sign or street light kind of situation. It's typically your word against their word and if the point of impact is not in your favor, most likely, their word will be favored so having video can be a huge advantage.Previously, I used a cell phone app but that wasn't very reliable as whenever I received a phone call or text, I'd have to reset it. Not to mention, I use GPS a lot and can't do both at the same time on the phone.This product came well packaged. I received the camera, holder, lighter charger, USB chord and instructions.It's pretty simple to set up and I was able to do it without the instructions. However, I did need them (instructions) to review and transfer. The one thing that I couldn't figure out is if it's compatible with other Apple products. I have one of the smaller MacBook notebooks that does not have a USB port which is not a huge issue as I have access to a regular computer. Also note: you will have to purchase an SD card (not included).The images are pretty clear. You can zoom in (which would be great for recording tag numbers) and out. There's an impact lock.The camera itself is very attractive looking and small. It's silverish and sets up quite easily.I will keep my review updated as needed for quality and durability.Update: it's still working great! My daughter just bought a new truck so I'm going to talk her into getting one too. I'd give her mine but I like it too much!

I've been using the dash cam for a while now. So far I'm really impressed and happy with this little guy.Here are the pros:-- Metal casting on the front and on the lens make it feel very sturdy-- Video quality at 1920 x 1080 is awesome, and with decent high dynamic range gives details in the bright spots-- Night mode provides crisp and illuminated videos, which by far the best I've seen as compared with the other competitor brands-- USB outlet on the power cigarette plug is a great, convenient featureCons:-- Screen size is small-- Wish it has a plug-in for a rear cameraI definitely would recommend this to anyone!

This dash cam is awesome! When I saw the 5-Star reviews, I decided to try it. It was easy to set up and install in my car. The first time I drove with the camera, I almost got into a collision 2x. The first time I was on the inside lane and a truck on the outside lane cut in front of me to turn up a side street. The second time in that same evening, a truck from a side street reversed onto the main street right in font of me. If I got into a collision, the camera depicts it all. I took the SD card out when I got home and downloaded the video and it's very clear.

Works great. Easy set up. Very good picture.
