This product is accpetable for the non-serious user. The speaker has a very limited dynamic range, and a somewhat poor use of the power that is delivered to the speaker. The basic problem is the inefficiency of the speakers within this case. I know that I've changed the speaker by doing this, but I unscrewed the rear terminal plate for the wire connection, to allow these cabinets to be vented. By venting, I'm able to gain a little from the speaker response, with only the expected sloppy result from hard driving. I basically do not drive these with any powerful levels and have them in a setting where they are only used for casual listening. Sending different types of program material to these speakers produces various results-- again, nothing lineal or expected. A basic speaker- nothing special.
