LG Electronics PH550 Minibeam Projector with Bluetooth Sound, Screen Share and Built-in Battery (2016 Model) (Renewed)

I picked this up after buying and returning the LG PF50KA (the newer/nicer version). That one was also renewed like this one. I'm actually much happier with this one even though it's only 720p and has none of the LG OS software. Don't get me wrong, the PF50KA is almost better in every way (only con is that it's bigger). But I honestly did not think it was worth the price difference (roughly $150). The 720p is more than sufficient, and I'm a clarity/picture quality kind of guy. All of my TVs are LG OLED 4k. I didn't think the 720p "downgrade" was sufficiently noticeable. I mean, you're manually focusing both with a slider, so the picture will never be perfect. Both have equal battery life--probably good for one movie with energy saver on max. Save yourself some cash and pick one of these up. You won't regret it.Btw, I had no problem with the renewed aspect of it. The item was practically brand new. It came in a box and with a carrying pouch! Picture quality was great. With that being said, I can see how it is a crapshoot. The reason why I returned the PF50KA was because I could tell it was a in-store display item, sticker mark discoloration and all. That one looked dimmer than this one even though it was rated at 600 lumens (this one is 550). And the battery degradation was more pronounced, receiving a low battery warning 45 min into a movie. So it just depends I suppose.

Remote must be pointed directly at it to work,Randomly flashes black screen,Decent sound quality for a projector,Surprisingly great quality when blinds are open (I can still see picture decently), I do wish I could adjust the image placement with the remote instead of having to manually move it...

For my needs, it works very well. Good amount of adjustments and features, great picture quality and brightness.Recommend using an aux sound system though. Has the sound quality of a cell phone.Seller included all original contents and it was in pristine condition for being refurbished.

Good projector for dark room. I used to watch movies at night and my purpose is served.
