absolutely the best product out there
I have tried several products. Several mechanical which made small wholes in my sweaters sometimes, natural stone breaks and makes so much mess but then I gave a try to this. It is amazing. It is very gentle to the fabric and it does not make a whole. This product gently brushes off all the little fuzzy balls which accumulate under arms and around waste after some wear. I give it 10 stars out of 5. I went and bought several others as a small gifts for my friends and family because it is so worthy. I usually don't write reviews but I always read them very carefully. I was so amazed with this product I had to go back and share it with everyone.

Fantastic product!
This defuzzer is so easy to use and small enough to carry in my purse. I had one of these over a year ago and misplaced it. I've been searching for a replacement for the last several months. It works very well, giving new life to slacks, blouses, sweaters, and any item that has "pills" and bits of fuzz. Since this defuzzer doesn't rely on batteries or electricity to do the job, it goes with me everywhere. It's thin enough to fit in a pocket if necessary, yet strong enough to do the job. Highly recommend this defuzzer.

Worthless
It seems a bit odd that a multitude of positive 5 star reviews are coming up all of a sudden. Guess I got suckered out of 5 bucks. A couple of crap little combs that wear out really fast and lost their ability to grab the fuzz effectively. I tried this on a grey charcoal sweater, so I can't comment on the trail it leaves, but what I can say is this is a horrible product. Please don't get suckered by the positive reviews. I used both of them on one sweater, both wore out before I could finish and to top it off, it ripped some fabric out and ruined my sweater. Thanks alot D-Fuzz It!

Simple and effective
I chose this comb over electric shavers because batteries seem way to complicated for this task. When it arrived, I poured a glass of wine, pulled out every sweater I own, and went to town on those pilling fabrics. This comb does its job well. Depending on the fiber of the sweater, sometimes I have to go over an area several times, which isn't really a problem. The link caught in the teeth can be a little tricky to remove.

Cheap and poorly made...and you can make one yourself for pennies.
The cost of making this simple little item is probably no more than 5-10 cents a pop.Basically it's small piece of semi-fine grit screen, the type used to clean copper pipes (before soldering them) and that comes in rolls and your hardware store. The modern day replacement for Emery Cloth. That's wrapped around a thin piece of dense foam, which is inserted into the cheap little plastic comb-like frame...and held in place by an insufficient amount of glue. The strip is 2.5" long, and has a relatively small surface area...sticking out about 1/4" from the frame. It works (sort of) by you scraping this little comb-like device over the fabric to be "De-Fuzed"...with the bits of grit catching onto the pills and scraping them off. At least in theory. But the grit area is small, and the piece of grit with foam is not securely held in place, and can come loose. Plus the grit is really too fine to be effective on anything but relatively fine fabrics. Definitely unsuitable for sweaters and sweatshirts.Plus, because the foam backing (underneath the grit) is rather soft, it allows the grit to flex too much, and so be less effective. A coarser grit and less flexible backing would probably work better. But just realize that you can go to a hardware store and buy this grit screen material, and wrap that around a small piece of thin wood (with a bit of soft fabric underneath)...and it will work just as well for pennies. And if you get a coarser grit, it will probably work better. As bad as the cheapest powered De-Fuzzers work...and some are pretty bad...most work at least as well as this little tool...particularly on heavy fabric...where this device is pretty much useless.

Very handy tool!
I love these! I order them by the half dozen and give them as gifts. This is so easy to use! I have used it on my cashmere blanket and it now looks brand new! I have used it on expensive t-shirts where the fabric was not as smooth as when I bought it and it brings it back new. It works amazing on all kinds of fabric and removes the pills very effectively. I highly recommend this defuzzer!

not bad!
i bought this awesome track jacket that i was super pumped to wear. i wore it once, looked super awesome, but then got it really dirty. threw it into my dorm laundry machine, and i was so pissed to find little clumps of crap all over my new jacket, to the point where i could not bear to wear it.then after finding out the little clumps were called pillings(who the hell would know that), i found this sweater comb on amazon. ordered it, and put the little thing to use. after about 20 minutes, i was surprised to see how well it cleaned up most of the pillings.i give it four stars because it still left a number of pillings, but at least i can wear my jacket now. also, after using it once, i noticed that the stone(?) on the comb was wearing off.. probably want to buy two!

Blanket Saver
I had washed 2 of my blankets Just like the tags on them said and they turned into a huge lint ball and thought I was gonna have to throw them away! When I took them out of the washer and shook them out the Kitchen floor was covered with huge lint balls everywhere! The dryer didn't get the lint out neither! So We got on Amazon to see what they had! And choose the D-Fuzz-It! I wish it was the size of a comb! But let me tell you this is a fabulous product! It took a while because the blankets were so full of lint they looked like a giant fuzz ball! It took the lint off! I couldn't believe it! The blankets are king size! The D-Fuzz-It took it off like nothing just had to comb the material! Totally Amazing! If you have any problems with lint I would suggest the D-Fuzz-It! I Believe no lint problem is to big for the D-Fuzz-It! I love It!

Better than battery operated.
Should have bought this long ago. Wasted money on battery operated ones. Also good for materials that others cannot handle.
